Ordered from here last night, ate the food and all tasted good. Woke up this morning, ran to the bathroom, and threw up in the toilet twice. Not sure how quality control is done here. Whether someone didn't wash their hands, or the food was bad but still used, either way more care needs to be taken. At this point, it's not even about the money. I just don't want someone else to get sick.
I was expecting better, based on how long the lines were at this restaurant. That is something to be aware of if you go, it took me literally 30 minutes to get through the drive-through. It was not necessarily because the establishment was slow, but because there were so many people there. The parking lot is also laid out such that the drive-thru line manages to block a lot of parking spaces, leading to very frustrated patrons trying to leave, but not being able to do so because the cars in the drive-through line block them.The food itself was pretty bad. The chicken was bland, flavorless, had a rather light colored breading, but it didn't seem to be undercooked. The best item we had would be prepackaged chocolate chip cookies. Not that the cookies were good (they weren't), they were just not quite as bad as the rest of the food was.There is just really nothing redeeming about coming here at all.
Even with little to no cars in the drive through they managed to make my food slowly and gave it away to another customer. Was not told about this since the lobby was locked. Had to walk up to the drive through window. Worst experience I've ever had at Popeyes. The only decent staff member that was able to help me was the wonderful drive through window staff. I cannot ever recommend coming here at night. Seriously awful experience.
Always the busiest location in Vancouver but honestly they are hard working people and can't knock them for waiting a while. The kitchen staff is doing their best to fill orders. They will make it right if something isn't right. This is the closest I'll get to southern cooking that isn't a food cart or overpriced restaurant. Yes it's spendy but it's worth it. I've never had a bad experience here. I also pick up UberEats from here on occasion and never had to wait more than 20 minutes.
Love the food, people working inside are challenged with their daily jobs just like everybody else so I understand so I'm not going to bash on that. They were polite food was good place was clean. definitely going back
Always picking up, never been inside to eat. I have been 4 times in 6 months(?)My mom, 82 will call me, asks if ill pick up dinner, so I do. Each time, I'm surprised at how polite, attentive, and hard working everybody seems to be. Must treat their employees good? Managers are good? They're doing something right, Mom has never had a bad meal or something missing that was ordered. I'd recommend if you want fried chicken. Better than KFC? By a long shot. My opinion.
Waited in line for 30 minutes even though there was only 3 cars ahead of me. Food came cold and was disgusting. I worked fast food so I understand the struggle but if I’m waiting that amount of time I want warm fries. They take 2 minutes to fry, there’s no reason they should be cold.
Horrible service made an online order. Got to the restaurant in 10 min after order. Went through the drive through to pick up order and was asked by the attendant to pull around front as they are still making it. OK no big deal. So I pulled around front with headlights on so they knew it was for me. Waited for over an hour in parking before I got irritated and went inside. Waited with no line in restaurant for another 15 minutes before I was helped just for them to tell me they are still making it on top of that they still didnt want to make it right...Horrible service will never return to this location. This location has done this in the past and I gave them the benefit of the doubt. This was the last time. No more for me
For the second time we ordered take-away and come home with only half our order. Don’t have this problem other places. No one answers the phone and, as you can see, no one cares to reposed here either ?
I waited for 30 minutes for a 24pc order to be done. When I first asked why it is taking so long after 10 minutes of ordering was because by the time I ordered, they ran out of chicken and were making a new batch. About 20 minutes past and the entire time I'm watching the drive thru and see many cars have gone through and I ask again and this time they said they messed up on the order and were redoing it and gave a half-hearted sorry. I was already disappointed with my last experience and wanted to give them another chance but this time really put the cherry on top. Definitely recommend going to another location.
