This is always our go to place for pho and bubble tea . The staff is always friendly , food comes out fast and the prices are reasonable .
Maybe it was on off day? Tried the egg rolls and the pho, best part was the egg rolls pho was unfortunately pretty bland.. For 41$ though yeah probably my last time here lol. Want my recommendation? Save your money and get pho elsewhere very pricey not a lot of meat or taste in the pho.. Staff are friendly.. Sucks I felt the need to leave a bad review.
Stopped in for a bowl of pho, you can opt for vegetables instead of noodles, lots of great options. Pho was delicious. They are doing some renovations inside, which apparently have been going on for some time.
I ordered chicken wings, egg rolls, and x-large bowl of brisket pho with extra noodles.I thought the egg rolls and chicken wings were a bit over done which made them a little dry. There was sweet and sour sauce for the egg rolls so it was ok. The pho was good nothing over the top or underwhelming. It was ok. I would recommend this place if you were just hungry for pho, it hit the spot but I wasn't overwhelmed.
This is definitely one of best Vitnamese restaurants in Portland metro for Banh Mi. The Vitnamese craps are the best I have had outside of Orange County California.
Very good place for the casual diner. The sandwiches are phenomenal and the pho is top shelf. I do wish there was a a few more noodles tho bc the pho is a bit more expensive than other places ( the pho is of a pretty average size it's just a dollar or two more). Anyway it's still worth it. Very good
They have the BEST Bahn Mi in Vancouver! All other places skip the pate and they definitely don't here. Friendly service, great food!! Have been going here for years and will continue to. Thanks!!
It's one of the best pho places in Vancouver! Customer service is top notch, and the broth and food are delicious ?
First off, I was very surprised at the price of this place. I have eaten at quite a few Pho soup places, and this was very over priced. I got the order to go as my fiancée was sick and this place was close. When I received the order, it did not feel very warm at all which suprised me as most places the broth is almost boiling. When I got home and started making the soup, the broth was Luke warm and I had to heat it on the stove. Then to my suprise, the well done brisket was almost entirely fat, the meat was definitely the worst I have seen. The broth was EXTREMELY bland, I am so disappointed and should have read the reviews closer as others have had the same experience. Do not buy Pho from this place, it is not up to par and way overpriced. Worst restaurant experience I have had in years.
Recently I’ve been having a lot of Pho. Searching for that elusive grail like a lost Culinary Knight. Vancouver may be a backwater in a lot of ways, but it has some great Pho.Unfortunately Pho House Cafe was the most disappointing of the various places I’ve tried so far. The service was nice, the atmosphere was welcoming, but the first think I noticed was there was no lime on the condiment tray and there was about half the basil I usually receive with an order. Then came the first big problem. The broth was not very hot. I have never received a bowl of Pho that was not piping hot. Ever. For one thing, it means you cannot finish the bowl before it is cold, but more importantly it means that when you add the basil, it will not disseminate into the broth properly. And it needed something. The broth was bland and uninspiring. No bite, no complexity, no depth. Life is born of magic spices, star anis and coriander, with layers of history and culture and I simply didn’t get any of that.I also had the chicken salad rolls which was probably a mistake. I’d never had a roll with chicken and I thought it sounded interesting. It felt a little oily and the peanut dipping sauce was also a little boring. There are so many great Pho places in town, Pho House needs to step up its game and get back to its cultural roots. Good Pho satisfies the soul, this just filled my belly.
