Pho was great. Deep broth, the steak and meatball was tasty. Brisket was a bit tough. Bahn mi pork, five stars ?. Crusty bread. Good char on the pork. Add extra jalapeños!

I came today and sat inside with my friend, and the service was awful. 15-25 minutes into our meal, the girl comes over and interrupts and asks, “separate checks or together?” We then answer, and she comes back with the check as we are still eating… I got one cup of water and she NEVER came back over until we put our cards. Once we put our cards, she immediately came over to grab the check, which means she was paying attention but didn’t care to check in on us, give water, or just be polite. She also had one AirPod in, which is just completely unprofessional if you’re supposed to be a waitress paying attention to customers. My friend asked her for a box, and the waitress never came back because her boyfriend came in and sat at a table. She of course was hanging around him, even standing and eating his food while she was still working.. Needless to say, the service alone is the reason I will never come back. It is sad because the food was actually really good (food is the only reason this is getting two star). If you want decent service, or water with your meal, I’d definitely suggest elsewhere.

Use to be a great place to eat. The service has gone down hill. food quality has went down. Prices have gone up and portion size has gotten smaller. There is better pho restaurants around town

I want to start by saying I rarely leave a bad review. It’s not me. I’ve been here many times over the years. Both dine-in and take out, a returning satisfied customer. After today I won’t be returning. Five of us dined in this evening. The service wasn’t terrible but our waiter spoke so low that no one could hear or understand. Not sure what was going on with that. Our food came out on time and everything looked good but my biggest problem was with the way the broth of chicken pho tasted. Something was wrong with it and it was absolutely horrible. Vegan pho not recommended either. We weren’t sure if that had anything to do with it but I completely lost my appetite. Pay the extra $ and go to Cloud9 on Mill Plain!!!! It’s worth it.

Went in not expecting much but the food was absolutely amazing!

A great place to eat lunch or dinner. Reasonably priced. I paid ?13.95. for G12. Slice barbecue pork, a skewer with 2 medium sized shrimp. 1 small egg roll, veggies and rice. It a big plate and delicious ??. Best part is the people there are super friendly. I felt like I was part of the family.??. Look forward to going there again when I'm in the area. Please check it out if you like pho or Vietnamese cooking. The portions look large and I saw many Asians there. Always a good sign if you're looking for authenticity.?

I went here a year ago and they have made a lot of improvements since that experience. (it was good then) Amazing Pho now! Great job on striving for excellence and I hope this helps you to be recognized!

If you are vegan, please do not eat here. We had two incidents with them. The first time they added meat to our vegan pho and the answer was they tried to pull it out of the noodles and missed some. This last incident they gave us pork egg rolls instead of the Vegan ones. When we called, the response was people will make mistakes sometimes. While I understand that is the case, the lack of respect for why people want Vegan food makes it to where I will not come back. They should not offer a vegan menu option if they are not going to properly cook and prepare with vegan dietary needs.

Their beef noode soup is aweful. It lacks taste. Their salad rolls felt kind of hard, they were not made fresh for sure. Their curries were bad. Won't be coming back for sure. It used to be good, maybe they changed cooks or something. Dining service is slow as well

One of the last Vancouver places on my list due to their relatively low ratings on Google. As I walked in the door, I was impressed with the dining room size and number of customers. The place was hopping! I love the decor, The big relief on one wall, it's fun, ethnic, and welcoming.I order the Bun Bo Hue - Spicy Beef noodle and when it arrives, I am thrilled by the presentation. It has that rich, deep, red oil look that makes me want to drown myself in it. The tray of sprouts and basil is abundant. It has not only two kinds of basil and the chilis and lime, but it has Shizo leaves which I think is the first time I've even been served this with a broth. I loved the unexpected flavor profile it added.I was wondering why the restaurant only gets 4.3 on Google which although better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick lags behind many of its competitors. I was bang on eager to add a 5 star review. Based solely on the broth, I thought what a great place to come after a visit to Kaiser which is just a block or so away.I was so impressed that I ordered the Pad Thai to go for my wife, bless her soul. This is where problems arise like gas bubbles from a swamp. I drop it off with my wife and go about my duties and when I see her again I ask her, How was it? Although I can already tell there is something not right in the halls of Valhalla. She looks me dead in the eye and says, it's the worst Pad Thai she's ever had.For me... The standard on which all Pho places are judged is the broth. I am a fanatic. I would do laps in a good Pho, but for the sainted wife who not only puts up with me, but washes and organizes my underwear drawer, Pad Thai is her ultimate test of a restaurant's essential worth. She says it tastes nothing like Pad Thai. It contains copious bell peppers and that is all she can taste. I am shamed in front of my better half. I had given her rave reviews of the Broth, proud to have found such a treasure. Well, that certainly left me with egg on my face, or pho, as the case may be. I might sneak away once in a while to grab some Pho, but I certainly can't take the wife.
