The jumbo lamb shank was succulent, tender, perfectly seasoned, and the basmati rice and vegetables were the perfect accompaniments. Great decor--we felt like we'd been transported to an exotic location. Our server, Stefan, was great: friendly, helpful and just the right amount of attentive. Strongly recommend this place.
I added special instructions to my to-go order to make "gluten free" and also called after placing. I have Celiac disease, as was explained to them, and my food cannot cross-contaminate with gluten. The gal told me she told the chefs not to include bread. When I opened my order, bread was on top of my food. She took my name down—unfortunately it was just before closing. The next day when I called to have them remake the order, the manager said I was at fault because I didn't specify "no bread" on the order and that his chefs don't understand what "gluten free" means. For my own safety, I can obviously never eat here again, and based on the manager's attitude towards his customers, you also might consider otherwise.
The atmosphere here is absolutely beautiful. The artwork and presentation of cuisine really make it feel like you took a one way flight to Jordan. Yes Jordan, as many of their dishes state that there are seven spices from Jordan to season your dish. We ordered the marashkun (I think that's how you say it, it's the lamb dish) and a hummus plate. The bread is a very unique and not like a pita bread I've really had anywhere else. They're fluffy little things. The dinner was delightful, the atmosphere was engrossing and the service was great. I will visit again.
Hidden gem. Great service, fast and friendly. Food was amazing. Prepaid with care, neat presentable, and most off all VERY delicious. Meat was cooked to perfectly, not too rare and not to well done. Chicken was moist and flavorful.

Got a couple gyros to go, and they were excellent! The interior is lavishly decorated; great atmosphere. I'm looking forward to dining in someday! I do not have a picture of my gyro because I ate it too fast
Yum! The food was soo tasty. My husband and I went here for a date night and left very happy. I got the gyro, the lamb was delicious. As was the feast of the food. My husband was pleased with his meal as well.
Stumbled upon this spot in a search for new restaurants to explore, and I'm so glad I did! This place is so fantastic. Great food, great tea, awesome decor. And our service was perfect!! Baily, (I think, or that's what the check said) was so fantastic.
Wow. It’s not often that a place leaves me speechless but this is literally the yummiest, cutest and most amazing Mediterranean restaurant I’ve tried. I love the on floor seating, the waitress was so, so kind and overall, the experience was INCREDIBLE! We will be back.
Sad to see the quality in this place go down. We never received water after we asked our server twice for some water. I ordered a kabab plate and it just tasted of garlic. I tried to stir it around thinking I ate a piece but it was caked in garlic. The garlic was also from a jar and not fresh. The rice was bland and the meat was chewy and tasted old, almost like it was in the freezer for too long. I have given Petra many chances before but the quality has just gone down hill from a couple of years ago. My family and I won't be returning and we recommend that customers try a different Mediterranean restaurant.
