Homemade spicy chai is scrumptious.
We needed some coffee beans and I needed somewhere to work on my book, so we looked for a coffee shop we haven't been to yet. Paper Tiger was very interesting, quaint, great ambiance inside with a knowledgeable staff and a full selection of single origin coffees as well as a few blends. The batista, London, was great and kind made us feel welcome. We had our little one with us, GunnertheWestie (on insta) so we sat outside. I believe it was rush hour, it was a bit noisy and a little hard to work, but it was much quieter inside. On days without Gunner, I would definitely feel comfortable working inside. Its also nice that they are open until at least 5pm on the weekdays (1700 for my fellow Veterans), which is much better than the 2 or 3 pm we have been finding at some coffeehouses as of late. We will definitely be going back. Oh and they support the military, so its a big plus in my book.
Absolutely love Paper Tiger Coffee, made it thought the pandemic for a reason. They're definitely a hidden gem, but I do recommend you come try their Honey Lavender Latte's.

I used to frequent this place many years ago before I moved away, and since moving back to Vancouver this year I'm happy to see Paper Tiger Roasters has maintained everything that made them so special years ago. The staff are both the friendliest and the most skilled baristas in town. Their roast is incredible and the shop itself has an atmosphere entirely of its own, managing to avoid looking like every other third wave shop while still providing a cozy and interesting space. I can't say enough good things about Paper Tiger, definitely give them a visit!
This is my go-to coffee house. In-house roasting a both decaf and regular coffees produces unique taste and coffees you won't find anywhere else. Hand-poured with a great attitude. Best place in town
Stopped here on our way through Vancouver. What a great little shop! You can see the roasting operation in the back, the coffee is smooth, and the bathroom is clean and fresh-smelling. We will happily stop here again our next time through. ?
Super cute, local coffee shop! The owner was there when I went in and seemed really kind! Also sorts of fun little local items and artwork for sale! 10/10 would recommend. Good wifi, spent the morning doing work there.
