$19.00 fish and chips. I've taken 1 bite. Substitute fries for a cup of soup. This is a joke. 3, 3inch fish. $19.00 is outrageous for this!
A cool spot to stop in for a quick snack and to watch some sports. The place is nice and spacious and has a good amount of tvs with sports playing on them. The bartender was friendly and quick with our order. The dirty fries were a perfect snack to have and was delicious.
I stopped there for lunch today----beautiful warm day 'so we sat outside in the small outside seating area just off the sidewalk.I ordered a burger with the fixins'---mushrooms ,cheese and bacon and an arugula salad.Service was good , even though the server also was working the bar and we were sitting outside. Attentive and friendly.The burger and the salad were just OK---not great but not bad. The burger was cooked to order medium but it was just sort of boring , even with all the stuff we ordered to dress the burger up. The salad was just OK too.I also thought $23.00 for a hamburger with cheese , bacon and mushrooms was a tad steep for the Couv' ( you pay extra for all of the above!)It's a bar primarily and I know that but I've been in many bars where the food is top-notch right along with the drinks. I think food is just a secondary afterthought at Pacific House.I'm not sure I would go back for the food but I might stop in for a drink or a beer.
Mackenzie was a stand out bartender. Everything was perfect and I am really impressed with this bar and the food they serve.The amount of plants they had created a very comfortable atmosphere and I will likely come again. (I am a out of stater).All of the staff was very pleasant and I am very happy with the service I was provided.If you don’t know where to go tonight, this is the place to go… wow!Thank you again all who were a part of a very amazing experience.
Since moving to the downtown area, I have stopped by here a couple of times for a cocktail and early dinner. I have only ordered salads, but I plan to try other items soon (the salads are tasty). The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxing. It's a must-try for downtown Vancouver.
We were in town for business and just happened to walk in. First the servers were very friendly! We ordered 4 different dishes and one appetizer. Every single thing we ordered was amazing with flavor!! The cooks nailed it. Can’t recommend enough!!!
First time here - impressed with the food, the craft cocktails, and the friendly server. I'll visit again based on this experience, and if it is as good or better, I'll change my rating to five stars.
This is my third time and all 3 times where a difference BAD experience. I) REALLY bad serve and food was oaky 2) Food came out cold waitress had an attitude 3) This time the food was just not anything I would go back for and the waitress only came back at the end to drop off the check and than was trying to be funny and sexy I guess wanting a good tip from the guys.
I had been here in the past and wanted some fresh clams and DB Cooper inspired drinks. What this place now is just a generic over priced bar. Drinks were on point but the food was over fried and everything was spicy to the point of indelible. Sad.
Had a great time celebrating a friend's birthday here! Our waitress had only worked there for a week, but she was a champ! Our drinks were always full, she kept up with our group's orders without any problem, and was fun & joked around with us (keeping the atmosphere light and enjoyable)! The food we snacked on was delicious, the drinks hit the spot, and the setting was fun and laid back! Would definitely visit this place again in the future!
