Service was fast and friendly. I had the pork. The rice was moist and the pork had a good char on it. Great taste.
Love the food there it's great the customer service is also good ?
The food was great the only thing I didn't like was eating in and they served it to us in Styrofoam containers and plastic forks.
Used to LOVE this place, and went very regularly. I randomly went in one day and everything was different, and we were very unsatisfied with our food. Today we thought we would give it another try, big mistake. Not only were we charged $44 for 3 meals (2 spicy chickens with veggie and a short rib with noodles), our "spicy" chicken was completely submerged in a teriyaki tasting sauce, with no spice. I could deal with the price if the food was worth it. Miss the old food, super sad to let this place go after many years of eating here.UPDATE:After years of not going, I decided to give it a try again. Still not as good as it once was but comparable and much better than it was when I made this review. Which is why I am now giving 3 stars.
Simple, no frills Teriyaki that is tasty and flavourful. Staff is friendly, and dining room is clean, what's not to love?
Food great. But it's getting smaller and smaller. I paid 14 dollars for steak and chicken ate it all and I'm still hungry.
This was a very good restaurant 5 years ago. I believe the ownership has switched hands several times. I have been eating teriyaki food since 4th grade living in Honolulu. We left there and went to Seattle and I learned how to eat Asian food in Seattle's China Town. At some point we discovered Toshis teriyaki. Fantastic restaurant downtown Seattle a one off great new concept back in 1975. The key to Toshis success was freshness, everything was large scoops rice lots of teriyaki of all choices. Super quick clean service a pot of tea or what ever you wanted to drink.I continue to support out restaurant by the bowling alley. Small quantity, the chicken is sometimes like cardboard. They don't give enough sauce. I always spend around 15.00 per plate and never feel satisfied. Maybe I'm just spoiled from eating all those toshi restaurants that were built around the nation. I know it's a difficult menu but there are various recipes and plating and attitude and decor but you gotta rebrand like toshis or similar. If I didn't live 5 blocks away I would go elsewhere.
Oh man this place makes good food , I have had yakisoba chicken at many places , but not until I get here ,did I know how good they can be made.Noodles were thick fresh tasty .I will be stopping every weekend
Took a little longer than I'm used to, but that's because I showed up when they opened. Had the Beef/Chicken/Pork combo plate. Food is really good, chicken is juicy, beef slightly burned with teriyaki sauce (the right way), thinly cut. Great place to eat!
The teriyaki beef is the bomb! Chicken breast is thin but good, not fatty pieces.
