Food was delicious. Had the wood fire cooked pizza and I can't recommend it enough. The beer was really good and fair priced for the neighborhood. The staff were kind and gave great input. Would definitely recommend. The hours are actually later than listed.
Good pizza and decent beer selection. One drawback is the limited hours they are opened.
Service was excellent. However, $30 for a pizza that was just okay, wasn’t. I got the “hipster” and added pepperoni. It was forgettable, good not great. Would come back and try something else though, since the atmosphere was nice and everyone working there was awesome.
We’ve been coming here for many years - even during covid while it became order at the bar service. Was extremely surprised to see that it was not table service again yet. While ordering at the bar I asked if this was coming bask at any time and was told no. Which was super disappointing. I’ve seen nothing but such a decline in the service, and food the past few years. On a Friday night, they close at 9pm. We came at 8 with a large group and felt rudely pushed out the door right at closing just shortly after receiving our food. I hope for table service to come back, and hours being extended to a decent time on a weekend.
We ordered Reuben and the pastrami was delicious and tender. Their house made potato chips tasted burnt and didn’t have much flavor so we didn’t eat it. The wedge salad was too much and too heavy on the dressing, it was swimming in dressing so I couldn’t eat it.
This is the 3rd visit to this establishment. The first two visits were just OK. This last time, however, involved my take out pizza order. It was uncooked, beyond tasteless and expensive. The bottom of the pizza was absolutely black which is a result of the oven never being cleaned apparently. The beer was OK. Management was non-existent to provide a refund. I will NOT return which is unfortunate since I only live one block away. I should say that my other food experiences in Vancouver have been incredible. I don't see Mt Tabor remaining in business much longer in light of the competition in the area.
I ordered from DoorDash it took about 40 minutes which isn’t too bad at all. The pizza itself is delicious I do wish they would add more toppings especially for the price but overall I enjoyed it
Had a top notch pizza during Parade of Homes event. Looking forward to take out Fri nite. Order. was late, incorrect & dough was almost raw on underside & throughout. So sad since they know how to do it right . Good beer but probably won’t try again
Great beer. We didn't see vegan options, but it is in Felida neighborhood (conservative), so we did t expect it. Again, excellent beer!
Being a Felida local, I want our small businesses to succeed, but I can't with this place any longer. 3 strikes and you're out.Final visit, we walk in and not one of the 3 employees working acknowledged us, it was not what i would have called busy either. Finally one of them yelled that we can seat ourselves anywhere we wanted, except every table was in use or not bussed yet. We mentioned this back, dude rolled his eyes and yelled at another employee to clean tables. Nope, we're done, we left. Seems I am not the only one with bad experiences here. Too bad. Good luck Mt Tabor.
