We were told “about 20 minutes” but we left after an hour. 20 minutes after that they texted me to say my order was ready. That’s an hour and 40 minutes instead of 20. That’s crazy. This place must be very poorly managed.
I love McMenamins! I am a local and vistit different locations search time I go somewhere new. The staff at the Columbia location are all friendly and kind as well as expiditious as it can get busy during dinner. This chain is great for families, couples, friends, or even just being alone. On the Columbia is tucked away surrounded by hotels sitting right off of the Columbia River; when the weather is permitting, the nearly wrap around seating with beautiful views outside is worth the occasional spout of wind. A must visit location!
Delicious food at a beautiful waterfront location! We had lunch here yesterday, an excellent tasty , huge sandwich with Cajun tots! You must try them! Sprinkled with just the right amount of spices. Yum! The sandwich was amazing, avocado, large bacon slice, tomato, slice of Turkey, onion, lettuce, etc. Delish! You cant beat this location either! The decor is bohemian trendy yet cool, with lots of windows with a spectacular view of the Columbia & you can sit outside as well. Afterwards take a walk outside along the waterfront! Just spectacular!
Excellent Food & Ales! We sat a the bar and ate a late lunch. The Cajun Tater Tots taste yummy, with a good crunch without the greasy touch. Steak Bites with the cheese fondue is good if you want to skip the carbs on a bun. The Hamburgers are first class smashable to get in your mouth. I had the fruity Purple Haze Ale.

Usually they are notorious for slow service but our server tonight was top shelf!! If she is the new generation of server then they have finally created the perfect restaurant. Amazing libations, food, atmosphere and service. This location is highly recommended. Let's hope this trend lasts
