The place has a great aesthetic and even greater drinks!
My young son and I love to try out new coffeehouses. This place is darling! Ample seating, a great variety of drinks and food options. Love the little cups they have for sell as well. Will definitely be going back to try more.
We got the Cheshire cat(warm) and jabberwok(blended). Drinks are good. We will be back for sure.The staff is super friendly and the space is welcoming. Books to read and games to play.We would rate them in the top 10 coffee places for SW washington for coffee. We will go back and try the food so we can update this review.
Normally my fiance and I love it here, but today when we visited madhouse we ordered 2 Taro milk teas with mango jelly and the barista was talking with her friend instead of making our drinks. After she made them they tasted watery and she didn't put the jelly in the drinks so we had to go back to have her remake them.. Not worth the time or money.
It's not a chain or franchise so I prefer it over other places. They have a book self with. Leave one take one policy which is cool.
I visit coffee shops to get work done. Was pretty surprised to see their WiFi had no password protection at all. Just a standard, weak-signaled Linksys router.Holy bandwidth problems, Batman! After trying to connect for more than half an hour, I asked an employee if the WiFi was usually like this. She (not her fault by any means) said it's just bad sometimes.I ended up leaving halfway through my drink having been entirely unproductive. This place needs to join 2021 before I consider going back.Coffee was okay.
as a google reviewer I try to be fair and Honest. i went to madhouse coffee for my first visit. Nice inside, Nice girl working there. What was very odd was I ordered Regular Drip coffee and an another drink, the girl told me that they do not serve drip coffee due to Covid-19. They did not want people touching the self serving coffee which was on the counter. This totally stunned me! Why Not have the store serve it behind the counter? i think this was the weirdest thing I have ever seen. I have visited many many coffee locations and not one of them did not have drip coffee. Manager or owner you need to rethink this. Very Very strange. My 3 stars was generous. Serve drip coffee behind the counter like you do with every other drink. Give the customer choices.
Had a good time studying here. Got a 5 leaf clover and it was delicious. Towards the end of my stay I overheard the barista tell a customer who came in, “I already cleaned up but I guess I can do it,” or something of the sorts. I watched the customer stand there for a second and proceed to say never mind they’re good. Barista said “have a good day,” and customer proceeded to leave the store with a “sheesh” and a sigh as they walked out the door. As someone who works in customer service it was unpleasant to watch a worker seem visibly and audibly bothered by what a customer asks.
That was amazing thank you for such wonderful coffee and a beautiful and fun shop.
The Madhouse drink is delicious, an excellent dark chocolate doozy!
