Been going here for many many years, love this place! Best salsa in the state! Food is great, service is great, live music makes for a great atmosphere. Great place to unwind, take a date, or just have a good time eating, drinking, and visiting with friends. Go there and enjoy! Lol, don't tell too many people(don't want it to get too crowded.) It's our little local secret! ?
Lindo has been one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Vancouver, but I feel that the quality has slipped a bit over time. Still delicious food and good service but their margaritas seemed to have dropped a bit. To me they blew chains like Margarita Factory out of the water in comparison but now I feel like they are very average to nearly the same as their competitors. I hope to come back another time and have another amazing margarita some day.
I was pleasantly surprised at the meal portions of this restaurant. I don't generally eat Mexican food, so finding the mango steak salad in the extensive menu was a huge bonus - as well as it being quite tasty. My über large blended margarita was also good. All those in our party enjoyed the food and the spacious private party room in the back was perfect for our needs. Only hiccup was running out of soap in the restroom, an easy fix.
We had a group of 4. One of which was under 21. Due to the amount of customers present, there were no regular tables available so a server brought us to a booth in the 21 and over section. Once a different server came to take our order he learned one of the people in our group was under 21 and he said that we cannot sit there even after we had already been sitting and been given chips and salsa while we wait. But then upon learning one of our members age we were asked to switch to a regular table. Which we had to wait for over 20 minutes to get. Now the first server should have asked for ID's before bringing us to that section but even so we should have been allowed to sit in that section regardless since it was an employee that brought our group there. We were the only group in the 21+ section and could have easily been monitored and had id's checked for those who actually order alcohol. Because when we got to a regular table we still got alcohol for those that were over 21. Just absolutely ridiculous. Never coming back.
Solid place picked on a whim from checking Google Maps. Bartender and staff were attentive and friendly the entire time. The customary salsa served with chips was very weak, but they were more than happy to grab something with more kick for me. The quesadillas had the perfect amount of grease flowing out the sides during every bite. There’s multiple “Mexican” places on this main road, but I would recommend this to anybody looking for something worth their time.
Five stars for service! Friendly staff. We ordered takeout since we were in a hurry, but they were kind enough to let us eat there, and offered us drinks and silverware. I would give five stars for my rating, but the food was pretty standard. Lots of options though. I had the crab/seafood enchiladas and was pleased with how much seafood that they had!
Omg this is the Best place to eat it’s clean and the food is delicious the drinks are great everyone needs to come eat here it’s so peaceful and quiet and the cooks are fast with the food and the chips and salsa is amazingly great. Everyone needs to come and eat here seriously a great place to eat.
Had a Birthday Party here for my mom! The staff was all very attentive checking on us frequently all the food was what seemed made to order came out quickly considering it was a weekend and the restaurant was full so that was a pleasant surprise! Place was clean and had nice decorations as well! Will be back soon!
They have the best salsa in Vancouver! Consistently good and the service is always friendly.
I should have added pictures-too bad, it is all gone! We did a take out. I did a 3 combination dinner. The tostada was excellent. Their rice and beans are very well made. My son had a carnitas burrito and he kept saying, “This is so good!” Over and over again…..it is so good!It was great as a take out, but I’ll bet it would have been even better sitting down and eating it freshly made!
