They made my complicated favorite latte perfectly, and the marionberry scone was great. I met with a group, they have a nice area for small groups to gather. Reservations are require to reserve the group room. They also have live entertainment on the weekends.
Owner is horrible to his staff. Yells, puffs his chest, tries to intimidate, gets in their faces, practically throws items. What a piece of work!! The fact ANYONE continues to work in that environment is beyond me. Turnover must be insane. Those workers need to realize there are better jobs out there and they don’t need to put up with that. That is NOT a heathy work environment. Do not support this place!! Owner needs to realize what it takes to be a good boss, cause he ain’t it.
To the owner who responded to my concerns as a customer using Latte Da's internet.----I appreciate your response and suggestion in using my phone as a hotspot. I have done this occasionally where necessary , like in some underdeveloped foreign countries. However , I don't think I should have to do this in Vancouver Washington and I've never had to hotspot my phone in other coffee establishments such as Relevant, Compass , Great North , Starbucks River Maiden just to name a few on your side of town. Again, the difficult internet is definitely a known issue for you and I totally realize you have the right ( or not ?) to make an inexpensive and workable upgrade to improve your customer's experiences. Again, thank you for your response .UPDATE May 2022--I recently tried Latte Da again . I was pleasantly surprised by one aspect and disappointed by another feature .First the good--I had an excellent BLTA sandwich ( actually one of the best ever!!!) prepared by Rengain??? Perfectly prepared sandwich with lots of lettuce and tomato ---killer---see the pics! Now the not so good!--The WIFI---simply it sucks---no it STILL sucks. The owner knows and has known the WIFI is poor and still has not replaced or updated the system. Such an easy and relatively inexpensive fix. and yet nothing has been done !!!! This has been the situation for the past 5 years at least .Very disappointingly frustrating for anyone trying to conduct a business meeting or luncheon. There are so many better choices in Vancouver with a functioning WIFI.Final take---I wish I could recommend Latte Da because the ambiance is good, the sandwich was amazing , parking is ok and service is great but................that non functioning WIFI issue is a deal beaker in 2022.
Warning: they upcharge without telling you. A breakfast sandwich on a croissant is an extra $2. Nowhere on the menu does it say this. They also charge an extra 85 cents for an added flavoring in a drink. This is also not listed anywhere. I would have just stuck to the basics of I had known. The food and drinks are tasty and fresh though, and the staff is nice. I just wish they were more up front about their prices.
You enter in a cozy space. It was warm and inviting. We sat outside the staff was very nice and prompt. The order was quick. Food was delicious. Would definitely come back
Latte Da is truly a hidden gem! In my opinion they have the best chai tea in Vancouver and the most delicious breakfast sandwiches! They also have a lovely outdoor fire you can sit by and enjoy. Next time you are looking for a new coffee shop to try head here!
Food was good but its not really a place good for eating alone, I still recommend going if you have friends though. Also wifi was in an unsecured port on their network so my phone wouldnt let me connect to the guest wifi...
Friendly service, great wake-up java, and nice meeting place. Indoor and outdoor seating (under tent). The only problem: the wifi was out. But, a wonderful coffee house!
A great coffee place with some tasty specials! I would recommend the white chocolate lavender mocha, I forgot exactly what it was called, but it tasted wonderful and provided me with my necessary morning caffeine very well. They also have quite a bit of pastries and drinks to choose from. The area is very lovely to look at, and the service is nice and fast. I'll definitely come back whenever I'm in this side of town.
This cafe really knows how to make coffee. And their sandwiches are very good. Cozy inside. Lots of outside seating too.
