Great food, had the Hibachi Steak and Chicken, my partner had the Hibachi Shrimp, comes with salad or onion soup, and a side of Yum Yum sauce. Third time here, and as usual the fried rice and vegetables are excellent. Everything is prepared and cooked right in front of you. The server was very entertaining and deliberately comical. It's a complete performance. Bring your sense of humor. Great place for a lunch or dinner engagement. The bill was $30. Not bad at all. I did ask that they wipe the area I was sitting at a little better. There were no issues with that. Other than the people they set me with that were visiting from Chicago, and obviously had no time for fun and entertainment while eating, I had a great time. Yes it's a big grill that you sit around and you can be sat with random people. I just prefer people who enjoy themselves. I do highly recommend that you try this place. It's addicting. Sorry forgot to take pictures before I started eating.
This place almost ruined my husband's Birthday. This is the first time I have ever walked out of a restaurant or wrote a bad review for anything....I called and made a reservation more than a week in advance for a party of 15. They did not tell me that our whole party had to be there prior to seating. We had 3 small children with us and wait staff kept walking by almost spilling food on them. Even when our whole party arrived it took about 15 more minutes to seat us. Then did not come back for about 30 min before they took our order, after saying the chef would be right with us. They did bring us drinks but 5 of them were wrong. They then took another 50 min before my nephew started crying for food and I asked the hostess what was happening...she said she wasn't sure and then a little after that a chef came out who could not figure out what we had ordered. I was so disappointed at this point I just grabbed the hands of the kids in our party and walked them across the parking lot to the pizza place so we could actually eat. We had our party at the pizza place across the parking lot instead because we had made reservations for 7 and it was closing on on 9 at this point. Needless to say I would not recommend...
I love this restaurant. Awesome food and awesome staff. The grill is a show to watch and the prices are much better than Thai Orchid
First time ever eating at a Japanese Steakhouse in the Northwest, the Hibachi show was decent, but I think because of COVID-19 they can't do as much as they used to currently, but the food was fantastic and outstanding. I will definitely be going back and making this place apart of my normal dining out routine location, knowing there are locations in several places!
The food was alright. Nothing crazy, but it sufficed (except for the gross tap water). However, the service was atrocious. We waited 40 minutes for a seat, and then were seated at a hibachi table even though we weren’t getting hibachi. So after 30 minutes, the waitress finally checked in with us. However, she moved us once she realized we weren’t getting hibachi. Then, we waited an extra 15 minutes for her to get our order. Overall, we spent 2 hours and 15 minutes there for a standard meal.
I ordered the Hibachi Filet Mignon rare w/scallops, rice and mixed vegetables with extra vegetables. To drink I had a “dirty martini” but didn’t expect it to be in a filthy glass. When mentioned to the waitress she acted like it was no big deal and didn’t offer to comp it. My steak tasted good but wasn’t rare, had veins through out, and were in tiny pieces. The scallops were amazing being perfectly cooked. The vegetables were good but way too many huge onion pieces with the skin included. Great sushi but definitely not worth the price for steak or drinks-?
This was the first time to a Japanese hibachi. We had a blast! Great food a wonderfully playful chef. We look forward to going again in the future. There are so many options available that you are bound to find something in your taste. Their menu is available online so you can go in prepared.
Perfect date night, the love boat has a variety of fresh delicious sushi choices.
We came here for my husband's birthday and had a wonderful time. The hibachi chef was fun and talented. Everything was delicious, we'll definitely come back.
I have been to Kyoto a few times, both for the hibachi grill and for takeout, and let me just say, the chefs here know how to make some TASTY meals. While ordering for to-go still maintains those Asian savory and salty flavors, I would highly recommend dining in, as it is an experience. First of all, the interior is clean and nicely decorated. Service is good. The chefs who work here are lively, kind, funny, and ready to put on a show for you while making some delicious food. I absolutely love their flavorful fried rice. Their meats are good too, my favorites being the steak and the scallops, which taste good complemented by the carbs. I highly enjoy eating here and it's a great place to bring others and have fun with them.
