Despite a number of variable reviews tried Joy Teriyaki since it is so close to home. Found chicken breast teriyaki dish flavorful. Had fried rice which was also tasty and had a number of vegetables in it. Salad was pretty simple (iceberg lettuce and carrots) but had a nice dressing. Large portion which yielded two meals.

I didn't get to get food when i went in, but I'll be back to try it because of the nice girl with great customer service.

Called in to make a pickup order, and after asking a couple of questions about options, was asked if I was "going to ask many more questions because they are really busy". Very rude and unprofessional to be asked that, so we went somewhere else.

I am a vegetarian. Ordered veggie egg rolls and got chicken. I haven’t eaten meat in 8 years i am super upset at their oversight

Well priced, tasty meals. They have a great chicken teriyaki lunch special. Lots of meat, two scoops of rice and some salad. Wish they wouldn't use so much styrofoam but,....

I never leave any negative reviews for restaurants even when they are mediocre tasting.. but Joy Teriyaki was beyond horrible. It was our first time ordering from them (KC Teriyaki is amazing and was closed on this day). I had the Kung Pao Chicken and Chicken teriyaki. Chicken Teriyaki was almost edible.. the Kung Pao was so over cooked. It was like eating beef jerky! And the fried rice was complete trash. It was still white with frozen veggies thrown into it (literally) . There was nothing fried about it. Maybe they had an off day? Not sure! I would never return to this place. I paid over 30 dollars for garbage. Spend your money getting frozen dinners. It will taste a lot better. Get your act together JOY TERIYAKI! People work hard for their money. Put some effort into your joke restaurant.

It is a bit of Russian roulette. Sometimes the food is great and they are fast, other times your order can take 45min longer than they said it would and the yakisoba tastes like nothing.

I ended up getting a chicken teriyaki with white rice. I probably should have known something was up when I received my food in about 3 minutes after ordering. My food wasn't warm but it still tasted good.Ended up getting food poisoning. Don't eat food that isn't hot. ?

Fantastic food! Nice people, fresh ingredients cooked to order.Great experience.

If you go here, only order teriyaki. I have had it before, and its fine, but I recently ordered the orange chicken. Now, I didn't notice anything weird at first, some onions and carrots and peppers with it which was fine. But then I kept eating it. While the chicken and onions and peppers were good, then I started to inspect my dish after I noticed a piece of corn.. which, then I found things that didn't belong- canned veggies, like the pea/carrot/green bean/lima bean blend. The carrots from the can were small square chunks overcooked like in a soup and there were also clearly large fresh slices thrown in- as well as the obvious bottom of it being waterlogged. Just weird. If a customer asks for veggies, you make more, you don't just throw a can of soggy precooked veggies - YOU ARE A TERIYAKI RESTAURANT. So i'll recommend this place for teriyaki only, so far I haven't noticed them putting weird ingredients in it.
