Used to be one of the best places to get take-out in Vancouver. The flavor is still good and the portion sizes are amazing, but the prices have skyrocketed while the quality has diminished (ex. My vegetable chow mein was just noodles, a few sliced onions and like 4 pieces of broccoli). Orders previously in the $30-$40 range are now costing $70+. The price increase just isn't worth it, especially when I have to add my own ingredients to balance out a meal.

I am a Chinese American and after a long flight from DC, we were very hungry. We ordered House chow fun, Singapore noodles, Happy Family and other dishes. The food was ready in time, the prices were very reasonable, the meal portions were huge with plenty of meat and the service was great. We even got an extra dish for free. Overall, the dishes were delicious and fresh. We will definitely come back.

Food & service were very good, the 1st time. Two weeks ago.Went back last night & it was awful! Food was barely edible. I asked the server for a CLEAN bottle of red sauce, she brings back a wet and STILL DIRTY, bottle. Obviously the same one. Vegetables....?, apparently means only ONE. And that is zucchini, yuck. !!!

Food always good. We were seated at 4:15. At 5 we asked where are good was after 2 tables that came in after us ate & left. We were told they were busy & it would be out soon. At 5;15 we asked again & were told they were busy ,& it will be ready in a minute . Same response at 5:30. At 5:40 My S.I. L asked again more insistently. Wr finally were served as 5:50. There was no offer for a discount or free dinner. Take out would have been better & quicker

I absolutely loved the food. The host was so kind and welcoming when I walked in.I ordered takeout and my order was hot and very fresh. They had one of my favorite dishes that I can’t seem to find very often in Vancouver/Portland area. If your looking for a Chinese restaurant that offers Cantonese style dishes, this is the place. I will be coming back here again!!!

Loyal patron for two decades. My last two visits late Jan and today.I stick to the cushion booth seats. Both time I have either used water or my spit with my shirt to clean off tables. The food the first time around Jan 28th.Is not what I expected off a dinner menu.It was not good and lunch size with dinner price .Today Feb 6 took the cake they were rude I was rude.Shame on me. But I did walk out too never be back again.

We had a wonderful take out experience from house of Beijing last night. We ordered and recieved so much more food than we could eat. They were super busy but gave accurate time frame for pick up. She said 40 minutes on the phone and called me up exactly 40 minutes from when I called. Very impressive. The food was delicious. The order was correct and we were fat and happy For multiple meals.

I really enjoy the food here. It's my favorite Chinese food in Vancouver. I would give it 5 stars but 4 or maybe 3.5 might be more accurate. Why? Well, carryout is their priority and they let 20 people block the lobby to stand there waiting on their food. The staff has no check in for dine-in customers. I was standing there waiting when a couple walked in in front of me. The lady yelled who's here and who's to go. Even though I was there much earlier, the couple was seated first. This is not the first time. For as busy as they are, the staff is friendly, but the Friday wait is horrific. Every time I've eaten there, unfortunately they are understaffed. They keep the carryout moving as fast as possible which I understand, but those of us who want to eat there wait on tables that the staff don't have time to clean. The ladies work hard, but they need help. For these reasons, I can only suggest eating there during off peak hours. Only then will dine-in customers receive a 5 star experience of some good Chinese food.

Awful! My boyfriend and I made a big take out order for new year’s and was sooo disappointed. We both felt sick after eating it. It was cheap food that they clearly didn’t make themselves… tasted awful! but since We got so much food, and felt bad about spending that money, that later that night I tired to eat more of it and threw up! Worst Chinese I have ever ate. From now on I will ask a Chinese restaurant if they make there own pot stickers. If they don’t. Stay away!

Bland but not terrible. Their fried food is EXTREMELY fried. It was like crunchy and hard. also feel like I was way overcharged a lot.
