Good food, great service, affordable prices! The staff/owner was super friendly and accommodating. Lots of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options! There are non-dairy milk options for the boba/bubble tea including almond milk and coconut milk. The taro milk tea with almond milk is delicious! Definitely recommend trying Hap Steam Healthy Cuisine!
Literally disappointed. I mean they are kinda like fast food so … it was really late and this is the only Asian restaurant open and close to airport so I guess I got no choice and I rather having nothing to eat tbh. They are acceptable if you just want something to eat. Definitely not for someone want something good. Even tho the service are nice and they are busy but it’s just not good, for real.
We wanted to like this restaurant so much that this is a hard review to write. Our meal was not good at all! We ordered 4 salad rolls and 8 crispy pork dumplings.The girl working the counter was likely new. When I asked about the lemon grass chicken she couldn't tell me what went into the sauce and just seemed to have an overall lack of knowledge of the menu. There was quite a wait even though I was able to order right away and the kitchen was very disorganized. I wanted soup dumplings but decided against it because I saw what appeared to be a frozen bag of them sitting on the counter. The crispy dumplings we got were beyond dry! It rendered the outer skin inedible. The dipping sauce for these was yummy but we weren't given enough for the order. The salad rolls had very little filling beyond rice noodle which isn't the healthiest. My boyfriend got hard shrimp tail in his and I got I don't know if it was shrimp shell or onion skin in mine... either way it was a bit of a gross out. The pork used in the salad rolls was dry and had no flavor, it was like chewing on an old damp wash cloth. The peanut sauce was good and there was plenty of it. We were beyond disappointed for what we paid. We had high hopes but we won't be back and definitely can not recommend. The staff was very friendly we just wish the food was better, we could deal with a wait and disorganization if it was.
If you give this place a chance, you will be rewarded with excellent customer service, a comfy lounge atmosphere, and great quality dumplings. The noodles and wontons were quite fine, and my partner loved her chicken. The kimchi was also fresh. The matcha tea I had was quite refreshing and sweet. The Thai iced coffee was on sale for like $1.50 so we got one too and it was great. Thank you Hap we will definately be back.
I love this place! Good fresh food and great Late night hours! Nothing better than being able to get some dumplings at midnight. I also love their to-go containers, they are strong enough to save and use as Tupperware. They have great coffee too!
Super friendly staff. The gentleman behind the counter made some suggestions and was very helpful. Calm atmosphere with Asian music playing in the background. We ended up ordering salad rolls, hum bao, soup dumplings and Thai iced teas. It was good portions for two to share and reasonable prices. The flavors were excellent. The temperature of one of the hum naps was a little cold in one section of it. Probably needed just a couple more minutes in the steamer. Still super delicious and I ate every bit of it. 100% will be coming back.
Ordered about $60 worth of food online for a curbside pickup. Waited about 25 minutes in the car after the expected pick up time, then had to go inside to see what was up. The employee said he forgot the click the order ready button. That's when he also said they were out of the rangoons we ordered, but this time it was an hour after the order was placed. Asked for egg rolls instead but was told we'd also have to wait at least 10 minutes for those. Also asked if we could get fresh food and they said no since it was "still warm." When we got home a few minutes later to eat everything was cold. The food was dry and bland. My friends love this place but sadly this experience was awful.
The food was incredibly tasty! My wife as a I went for the first time the other weak and LOVED what we saw and what we tasted. We got a variety of things to try out, including the bao buns, soft pot stickers, Boba tea, and a curry soup and lemongrass chicken. We had only good things to say about the food.They were also very friendly.Our service time took a moment, although we did have a large order and it seems we came in the middle of a rush.We can't wait to go back!
