Can't find good German food like this anywhere Love the staff, very energetic and friendly
The food was excellent, the service was okay. However, they didnât do anything special for my daughterâs birthday and as we were finishing our meal, someone who worked there stopped by our table at 9:20 and said we needed to leave which I thought was super rude. We had had a 7:45 reservation, they didnât seat us until 7:53 and no one even stopped by our table until after 8:00.
The veal jager schnitzel was mostly breading with a paper thin slice of veal; however, the mushroom sauce was tasty. The chicken schnitzel was bigger and much juicier than the veal. The mashed potatoes would've been good but the chef went overboard with the nutmeg. With the bread pudding and one beer, we paid more than $80 for this meal. Given the overall experience, the value was just not there unfortunately.
WE made reservations for Monday and when we got there they were closed..... would be nice that OpenTable wouldn't let you book a reservation if the restaurant is closed.
Go to a German restaurant and German draft beer should be easy to find. Tried two draft beers on their list. Not available. Theyâre sporting large Spaten signs, so I tried ordering that in a bottle. Instead of having a Spaten lager or Pilsner they had an odd seasonal variety. Trainee waitress got food ordered and delivered before beverages could be sorted. The house special veal schnitzel was not so special. I tipped the trainee well and explained what had gone wrong. No feedback from management on what was, being kind, a mediocre performance.
Timing of food coming was horrible, tables that were seated after us got their food first. Entrees came out before we could have a bite of our appetizer.. so Entrees were not hot when we ate them.
Loved our server, Jessica! Second time weâve sat at her tables and she is amazing. Food is amazing and delicious!
Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, as always. They weren't busy, but we were there during lunch on a Saturday.
Good food, good beer, good service, nice atmosphere.
It is too bad all their restaurants will be closing. Enjoyed their food for years
