In a world the seems to have forgotten the importance of great customer service The Garage Bar & Grill and specifically “Jen” the hostess with the Most’s has not forgotten and she single handedly not only got our group our drinks but served us up some spice and very tasty tater tots after the kitchen was closed tonight when we stopped by for a bite!! Valued employees like this are so rare to find these days and she’s also very beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. Stop by and see her, she’s amazing..! Great job Jen ? we love you ?
The bartender was a sweetheart but the food prices are outrageous for the pitiful quality. I ordered steak bites ($15.95) and a side salad ($8.95). I was asked what temp I wanted my steak and I said medium. It may have actually been medium at some point that day but what I got was about 3 tablespoons of grey, shriveled, over salted jerky with super salty Texas toast. The salad was comprised of the leathery outer leaves of romaine, a generous handful of raw sliced mushrooms and a sprinkling of pre-shredded bag cheddar. It was pretty horrendous. The horseradish sauce side they gave me for the steak bites weighed more than the actual steak. Maybe it was an off day. Way off.
The food was decent, not quite as good as pre-covid. It was fresh and hot and tasty... Just nothing i couldn't get anywhere else... I had the club sandwich and my son had the deli ham sandwich. They looked almost identical. The tots were perfect. Staff was friendly, but seemed to gravitate more towards the regulars... It has become a place now, about timing... May go there again if I'm in the area. But I wouldn't go out of my way to do so.
Went to have Friday night fish fry.The customers and entire vibe of the bar has changed. The service was terrible. I was unable to drink my margarita. It was bitter with no alcohol in the drink. The fish was $ 15.00 with 3 small pieces of cod and the minimum amount of fries they could serve. It looked like a snack clearly not generous portion and no offer to purchase additional fish it's a Friday night fish fry. The server after serving us never asked if we needed anything. Never returned to check on us till we flagged her over . No malt vinegar, no lemon no cole slaw! The fish was hot and was cooked well. But that's the only good thing I can say. We will never go there again. I feel the owners have changed. And certainly a once crowded bar empty. there only other only a few young customers playing video games we were the only other customers.?. I was told they just changed the margarita mix. But get it right before serving to customers. No apologies from our server. Just business as usual!
Actually got to this bar by mistake but glad I ended up there. The drinks were super ,the barkeep was amazing ? very friendly and attentive . Enjoy eating the tacos ? ? good job kitchen staff/chef .Will definitely come back .
First and last time! Had one drink and over priced food - bartender cut off my date after one drink! Others that had been there slurring political comments and others swearing at the TV because their football team was losing! So between the poorly prepared food and judgemental bartender - it's a big NO!!!!!

Jenn is the best bartender here. If you need a tv turned to a specific game, she's gangster at it. Food is very very good. I come here once a week. If you go, tip Jenn big. She works hard. Oh and the owner lady is very nice.
Adult grilled cheese sandwich was a great surprise! So delicious!Always friendly staff!
Bartender was very slow, never smiled, and had to be told by the cook to start being pleasant. She was a bit better after that. Food was great!
