I decided to try something new and I regret it. I ordered the New york steak and chicken. I was expecting a full steak but instead had about 8 tiny pieces of steak cut up. Everything tasted terrible and the same. No unique flavors it all just tasted like it was overly flavored with the worst teriyaki sauce. The dressing I got for my salad looked like curdled milk (seriously, like cottage cheese chunks) and tasted off! I wish I hadn't spend $45 on what I thought was a decent meal and tipped them for take out. Not to mention I opted for rice instead of noodles and it cost $5 more! For RICE. Maybe I should have just ordered sushi? Don't make the same mistake I did. Go somewhere else and get more for your money.

I've been here a couple of times and it's a great little hibachi, a bit simpler than the others in town but also less expensive and with awesome service. People talk more about Fuji's for their sushi, but the grill experience is also excellent. When my sister and I last ate here, our chef was super lively and rather funny. He flavored our food well, and was able to serve us more quickly than I had been served at other hibachi places. I enjoyed the noodles that come with each grill dish, and the calamari was very tender.

This is my favorite sushi place in all over Vancouver and I'm a picky sushi eater. Everything is made fresh in front of you and the quality is great. I'm surprised by some of the reviews because I eat here at LEAST once a week and never experienced any of the negative service or food quality issues mentioned. The salmon sashimi is unmatched in quality anywhere - so delicious it melts in your mouth. The sushi chef, Daniel, does an amazing job (I recommend the choo choo roll!) and Sam is quick to refill your glass. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants delicious sushi.

It was our first time there. I was expecting top-notch sushi. The food was mediocre at best. They charge top dollar, but the flavor just wasn’t there. The miso soup was subpar with cubes of tofu that were too firm and too large. It was brought to us lukewarm. The Unagi nigiri was decent enough but definitely nothing special. Then we both got sick. We both had diarrhea the next day, all day. The service was fine but I won’t be going back.

Caveat is that I ordered through door dash, so maybe their dine-in experience is better... $16 for what was essentially a shrimp lo mein (no zucchini or mushrooms as advertised) seasoned with soy sauce and iceberg lettuce salad, and there wasn't even much food, not that I wanted more of it, I didn't finish the yakisoba. The tuna didn't taste/smell/look all that fresh. The hamachi nigiri was pretty good though, so they get a star for that. Overpriced for what you get.

Sushi is good. The tempura include two big broccoli that is still raw inside. Besides, I expect a prettier tempura. This is more like fried vegetables. Also I don’t like the sauce.

Disappointed! This is the lowest rating ever for me.First and last time eating here with the family! I understand with staffing issues, but come on we waited over 20 minutes to order! It wasn't even busy and an Extra 20 minutes for our soup, when it should have been the first thing to be served. My family are very experienced Sashimi eaters and they we're NOT IMPRESSED with the quality.Go somewhere else!

Only 2 stars due to service. Food was actually okay.Hibachi chef is the root of this problem. No show (not even upset about that to be honest)We ordered the special for 2 and came with steak, chicken and prawns.Cooked everything fine. When he went to serve the prawns, 4 on my ladys plate, and 4 on mine. There was 1 leftover scallop on the grill, looked like he might of left it on accident, my lady motioned for the chef to put it on my plate. He said "no no order only 4"Now this is the probelm... you would think it would go in the scrapping hole. No , it went all by its self on the cart... and rolled away when the cook was done.Where did it go? Cooks mouth?, into a soup?, trash? It should have gon in a customers mouth, if it was flung from the spatula, even better.

Over price for poor quality. $67.79 for steak, shrimp, lettuce, zucchini & mushrooms stir fry then seared salmon, muscle rolls & Philadelphia rolls. The seared salmon & muscle rolls were amazing but the Philadelphia rolls were cut to thin so they kept falling apart but the most expensive was the steak & shrimp stir fry that was flavorless & extremely watery. I would recommend the seared salmon & muscle rolls only. Also, I had to ask for a refill for my soda and waited a while, needed salt & pepper & I was rushed out of there. Terrible service and low quality. Would not recommend. Honestly you will have better luck somewhere else.
