By far the best national chain sub shop in the PACNW. I have probably eaten 100+ of their subs over the last ten years and NEVER had a bad experience. They are amazingly consistent. Before we moved to Felida four years ago, I used to patronize the Firehouse location on Cedar Hills Blvd in Beaverton. I happened to be in that neighborhood last week and stopped in for a Hook & Ladder, my go to, and the manager immediately recognized me and remembered my first name after four years. Amazing!
We had the Brisket always a killer
Great spot for a yummy sandwich. The people who work here are really nice too. Saw an older gentleman in today with vision impairment and the staff member greeted him by first name, brought the food to his table, and set the food up in front of him guiding his hand to his items. Was just a sweet moment of kindness and thoughtfulness.
I have ordered serval times at this location as well as friends and co-workers and the order is ALWAYS made wrong. Finally I decided to call in to speak with someone about this, and not trying to get anything for "free" but wanted to be reassured this would not be an ongoing issue as we as consumers pay a lot of money. The I guess "GM" spoke with me and was absolutely unprofessional. She had absolutely no resolution or anything to say. I was shocked. It was just terrible and unprofessional!
I have eaten at Firehouse Subs in several different areas and I love the concept, I love supporting the local FD's but I've got to say my experience was not great. I came in and was welcomed with a mediocre welcome and when I asked the cashier for her suggestion she said "whatever you want". I love to ask for feedback from staff, to try new things and to get their opinion so this was sad. I settled for The classic chicken bacon ranch. The Bacon was 2 strips for a full large sandwich and they were paper thin, no flavor added to my sandwich. The turkey was good but overall I would rate the sandwich a C+. There were a lot of staff working and they were not super busy but no customer engagement at all. Final item is from the time I walked in to the time I left with 1 sandwich to go was just over 25 minutes. Next time I come through I will give you another shot and my hope is things get better.
Food was great. Good service and I like that they asked if I wanted to round up to donate to fire fighters. A step up from subway in my opinion.
Management has absolutely no idea of the concept of customer service. One of the kind ladies making some other customers kids' sandwich, the customer asked for the sandwich to be cut, and whoever was in charge went off on the employee for no reason. Apparently theyre not allowed to cut the small ones? So out of touch with reality, I hope the young lady making the food finds better work.
Best sub sandwich I have had in a very long time!!! Ordered the Hook & Ladder and the Chicken & Dumpling soup also delicious comfort food ?BUSY place but they got my sub out to me in about 10 mins during weekend dinner rush!
I ordered a sandwich and chilly, which was fine. What wasn't was I was never asked if I wanted condiments for my meal and was told I would be charged extra for cheese and onions for my chilly after I had already paid. I was never asked if I would like them and was informed "we don't ask about that" which is complete bs. Won't be returning to this location as all other locations have asked about this. 0/10 waste of time and money.
