I'm sorry, but those that say this is good or great BBQ don't know what they're talking about. The meats are bland & over cooked, no smoke ring in mine, (I'd bet they boil them). the greens are limp with no hint of ham or bacon and the stems were still on, and the potato salad tastes like that nasty Reser's garbage. Anyone who makes quality greens knows you remove the stems, and you cook them with smoked ham-hocks or bacon & onions. this is NOT good BBQ.
Brisket was like meat butter, so good and so tender. Had to kill some time getting my truck worked on and glad to have walked over here for some food. Will be back soon for more
I was confused when I walked in, then I turned my head to the left, that's where it's at. The guy at the counter (didn't get his name), he was absolutely helpful and attentive missing no details when explaining the food. And the food was just straight up amazing. I got the plate of ribs, brisket, beans and cornbread. The bread was very good, the beans were just delicious. And the ribs as well as the brisket was fantastic. Best and first experience at a truly good ribs place. 10/10 I have already came back like 2 more times. Will be bringing more family and friend here. Keep up the amazing work

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything about this place is wonderful. Great customer service and friendly people. We received our meals in a timely manner, the one pulled pork sammich was enough to fill two buns ?? definitely needed my fork and knife. This place feeds you good and take care of their customers, they are hard workers. The environment is just uplifting.
If only there was an ability to give more stars!!!!! This was our first visit and will be back over and over!First off, customer service is FANTASTIC. Daniel took our order over the phone and was immensely pleasant and courteous. Upon arrival I was greeted as if I had been thee a million times. Food was ready, packed up and kept hot. Now as for taste, OMG best BBQ I have had anywhere in the Pacific NW. Ribs were so tender I had to eat them with a fork since the meat just fell off the bone. Their sauce is SO GOOD!!! HIGHLY recommend!!!!!
Who or whatever Old Pro is that gives Daddy D's bad reviews needs to go. They obviously have never been down south to actually live where real bbq comes from. They probably think the Smokin' Oak has good bbq & that's the worst excuse for food, much less bbq I've ever eaten. Daddy D's has it - straight from "down home!" If you know what real southern food tastes like, you will love coming here. It doesn't matter what you order, you will not be displeased. I finally found a place that knows what seasoning and southern hospitality means. My GA roots have almost died...I don't like to cook for one and the child I'm raising won't eat meat unless it's from Daddy D's. Thank you for being here and providing what those of us understand what it means to have food made with love!
Okay let's get this straight. This is one of the better barbecues in the Vancouver area probably top three if not top too. Love the attitude of people working there which is phenomenal only small issues I have were they forgotten my sweet potato pie two different times and they don't have molasses for the cornbread. Now the second one is completely understandable because nobody around here knows what molasses is let alone eats it. That being said I'll always go back
I have been craving BBQ especially potato salad. They say this is homemade I say THE HELL IT IS! Also just curious who the hell cuts hot links like this. I haven't been able to eat food in over 2 half weeks to get this.
Server Daniel was a 1 man gang, super helpful, friendly and extremely professional. Then there was the food, I had the ribs, brisket and pulled pork with beans and potato salad as my sides. Good lord the food was amazing! What a wonderful & pleasant experience whenever I'm back in town I have come back.
