I am obsessed with their bowls and quesadillas. I have to try to contain myself from ordering everything on the menu when I'm there! The steak ? the sweet pork ? the chicken ? everything is so so good and fresh. They make their tortillas in-house which is why a simple food like a quesadilla is just next level. Love this place!
I placed an order online for an order of nachos that I was going to pick up and bring back to my office for lunch. I was a little worried that by the time I was able to go pick them up they would be all cold and soggy. I really appreciated that whoever packed my order took the time to portion out the toppings into individual containers aside from the protein and cheese. It would have been really easy to reheat had it needed to be, but it was still warm, and the added toppings were still cool and crisp! They really went above and beyond to ensure that I was able to enjoy their food as much as possible.
Paid for 3 entrees and they give me a bag with one small bowl! After three people were involved someone went "in the back" and they brought the correct order. NO apologies, serious faces, not even "can I offer you a glass of water while you waiting?" Now, I don't really expect extra food, or a super-sized portion as an apology from a chain... food enterprise, but you can offer at least a sincere "so sorry" or a glass of water, juice to a customer that you did wrong.Now the food. Wilted salad (1 leaf cut in 3-4 pieces) refried beans from the can with a salt content higher than the Dead Sea, two anemic enchiladas with meat from the can probably, judging by the saltiness and a little bit of rice on the bottom ( a very thin layer) all this being lukewarm. I really hope they didn't spot in my bowl.Now I wonder why it was so empty, inside and at the drive-thru!
Not as good as usual. Had to Door dash because of covid. Their was barely any protein in my bowl and sad cheese sauce on my burrito.
Costa Vida is one of my favorite places for fast burritos and bowls. The queso is great with just chips and also for dipping a quesadilla or pouring all over your bowl. Drive thru is usually quick and accurate. My favorite is a steak burrito, but I'll get some of the chicken with my bowl when I'm feeling it. Now I'm hungry!
The sweet pork burrito is fantastic! When they sweet they really mean it. The sweet pork is absolutely delicious. The size of my burrito was really really big and full of flavor. The lettuce and pico side was just okay. I could live without it but that burrito will have me coming back many times to come. I feel like the Baja was a full as it should be compared to the price. It tasted great but wasn’t much there. Specifically when compared to the burrito. But still very good place to try if your in the area!
I've been wanting to try their food, so I went thru the drive thru for protein bowl w added chicken. I was super hungry so I didn't hesitate to get the pic... the chicken was dry and blackened. I won't be going back. 2 stars for great customer service
This place has been really stingy for awhile now. We've been coming here since they opened. They used to give really good portions of everything so it was easy to justify the prices.For the last six months or so, they have been really stingy. Their salads are barely filled to the top, they barely give you any sour cream or guacamole, and overall their portions have gotten way smaller.After our most recent visit, I don't believe we'll be visiting them again in the future. When we got home, our portions were so small it was ridiculous. For almost $30 for two people, they should at least give good portions.
