We visited on Sunday July 3, 2022. 3 pm. We sat in the bar. The bartender was so rude. We had asked for a drink menu and he replied he makes everything. We ordered a drink and it wasn’t what we expected. I Asked nicely if we could get another drink instead. He got us another drink and slammed it on the table without saying a word . The rest of the staff was nice. The food we ordered was good.
Excellent, quick and delicious food service! The atmosphere needs a little TLC though, some things of concern, some just well worn. Of particular note to our group (because one of us looked up for some reason) was we spotted areas in the main dining hall where there are obvious leaks in the roof causing paint bubbling on the ceiling. While things do happen and buildings need repair here and there, if it isn't addressed soon it'll be much more indicative of the overall quality of the business long term. Still, excellent food, the waitress was wonderful, and holy cow that was quick! We all left full and happy ?
Excellent food and service. The tortillas soup was very flavorful. The tortillas stayed crisp, the chicken was excellent and the broth was seasoned to perfection. Our server made sure that we were stocked up with drinks and chips at all times. She was also very nice and got us plates, forks, a lighter and a huge sombrero for our dads birthday celebration. She also took the time to take pictures and make sure that we are happy. We’ve been coming here for years and definitely are going to come back again
This was a pretty nice Mexican restaurant. Big freestanding building dominates, easy to find/see. Plenty of parking. Nice spacious interior. Lots of nice tile and custom woodworking throughout. Very clean. Friendly hostess and waiter. Nice menu with great variety. I ordered the #8 three tacos with ground beef. I really enjoyed my meal. Fresh crisp iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, and onion on the tacos and the beef was just right, not too greasy. Plenty of cheese. Good tacos. I enjoyed it. If I'm ever back in the area I would go b as back and eat there again.
I've eaten here frequently for more than 10 years, and always have had a solid experience, both in the restaurant and more recently through delivery services.I ordered delivery through Door Dash tonight and found a huge piece of metal in my burrito. Thankfully I found it with my fork, and not my mouth. I called the restaurant directly because Door Dash is just a delivery service, and as a manager, there's no way to address or prevent problems if nobody ever tells you about them. The manager seemed to think that a busy, "crazy" kitchen was a good enough excuse. He told me to come down in the next day or two and they'd make me a new burrito. I appreciate the sentiment but feel concerned that they didn't seem interested in figuring out how this happened. The dishes come reasonably sealed up in individual packaging, so this addition to my burrito comes straight from Catedral Tapatia. Thanks guys!
Great food and service. The chips and salsa served were spectacular and the fajita burrito was delicious would definitely recommend. 4th time here will come again
Beautiful restaurant - murals on the walls, neat architecture, and wood seats all engraved with a picture of the cathedral. Everything is freshly painted and it looks like it's been renovated recently. Food is amazing. Portions are large and they are very generous on the meat compared to most places. Staff is always friendly and they've had many of the same employees for the last 15 years I've been coming here. I've been to dozens of Mexican restaurants up and down the west coast and this is definitely one of the best!

Maybe it is me. I saw great reviews on here. Bad experience. Staff were nice. Food was bland. Maybe because I was the only guest? Ordered beef taco salad. Small portion. Had to look for the beef under the forest of lettuce. I am still hungry
Staff was very friendly and accommodating Food wasnt bad. I feel it was overpriced for a Mexican restaurant. Tasty Margaritas. Pleasant atmosphere. Nice to go occasionally
