LOVE LOVE LOVE the food!!!! The service has always been great! However, the only way to enjoy a conversation with your party is to talk louder than the table next to you. Don’t go if you’re looking for a quiet atmosphere.
We were looking for a Mexican meal, and this was the closest one near our hotel open at the time. The food was good, and the menu is large. Many alternatives. Portions are good sized, and we took some home for the next day's lunch.
I ordered a cheese and onion enchilada that I had to pay extra for the onion(?). The enchilada sauce was a watered down version of enchilada sauce. The rice and beans tasteless. Add a loud atmosphere to the equation and it was a very poor experienceto say the least. Too many good Mexican restaurants in Vancouver to choose from to give this a try again.
Loud. But... always a good time and the ya ya rolls are fantastic! It's a good place to meet up with your belly laughing friends. Renée is probably the best server we've ever had.
Walked in, waited to be seated. Ashley walked up and we asked her to sit at the bar. She asked us if we were 21 which was okay but obviously or else I wouldn’t have asked to sit AT THE BAR and you can look at my ID when I sit down. We get seated and she comes back and asks for ID’s. My boyfriend and I both gave her our passports and she tried to tell us they were expired. You should know how to read a passport if you are going to he handling alcohol. It clearly says it expires in 2029…she was giving attitude when we were telling her she was looking at it wrong. We ordered drinks and she came back and dropped them off without saying a word and walked off. Never took our order. She proceeded to avoid us and we had to get up and tell her we were ready to take our order. She was too busy folding silverware to take care of her table. When she dropped off our food she was completely silent again. Dropped it off and walked away. We asked for the check because we wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. Drops off the check IN SILENCE AGAIN. I really hope she does not treat all her tables like this. I will definitely not be returning. I’ll reconsider when she loses her job.
MY FOOD WAS BURNT AND RETURNED. THE WAITRESS BROUGHT ME A SALAD TO GO FOR FREE AND WHEN I GOT HOME, A FLY WAS IN THE SALAD. I THREW UP. I AM FROM NY. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. I HAD THE PENNE NOODLES WITH CHICKEN. THE FOOD LEFT A BURNT SCORCHED TASTE IN MY MOUTH. 5 PEOPLE TOGETHER ALL COMPLAINED ABOUT THEIR HORRIBLE FOOD. THE RICE WAS NOT DONE AND WAS HARD AND ALSO BURNT. SICK.
Been a few years since I have been here. Not much has changed. Good food from a reliable menu. Nice beer selection. All servers were super nice! I'll be back!
Okay first of all this is the whitest Mexican food I’ve ever had. It’s a shame to even call this Mexican food. It’s a joke. Extremely white washed food.Good alcohol. The tequila is good.My party of five ordered dinner , and brought my friends food out close to an hour after my party was done eating. Said they “burnt” it and had to start over. What a joke and they didn’t even cook it.If you want better food, go to Muchas Gracias.Waiter was kind though. So that’s why I’m giving it two stars.Go by a 6 pack Modelo from the store and by Muchas Gracias, and you’ll have a better and cheaper time
This place was simply delicious. Our server was one of the best servers I've ever witnessed in my life, and that's coming from a man who worked his way through college as a server and comes from a family of restaurant managers. Truly the best service I've ever experienced.The food was one of the best meals I've ever had. We ordered far, far too much after going just for drinks and a quick appetizer. I enjoyed myself beyond compare and couldn't recommend coming more. Just try it, I promise you won't be disappointed.
Place was packed but was to be expected for a friday night. Personally wasn't a fan of the food. Just not my taste for Mexican food. The staff is super friendly and responsive
