My wife and I just received our pizza and I have to say that I am pretty disappointed. The cheese pizza was great, well cooked crust, etc. The combo however wasn't completely cooked. The crust wasn't cooked all the way through and was pretty much raw where the crust met the cheese. It was the same case for the veggie pizza. Either it's a case of too many toppings or the pizzas were run through the over too quickly. Regardless, $80 for three pizzas and two of them are not worth eating.
We have only had their pizza three times in the last two months, but on all three occasions it was ready when it was supposed to be and delicious with a generous amount of meat.Much better than any of the many other pizza places we have tried since we moved to Salmon Creek four years ago.
I would say this is one of the better pizza places in Vancouver. My wife and I have uncovered it a few months ago and have been going there ever since. The pizzas are always baked on time and taste good. The only downside is the customization options are too expensive. Their premade pizzas, often have way too many toppings on it, making it very heavy to digest. But otherwise, its a great place.
I have been ordering for pick-up at a designated time after ordering. The pizzas are always ready when promised. The employees aware when the pizza is boxed for me and they at times bring it out to the car. We have been ordering vegetarian for some time since many in our family are off meat. The various veggie pizzas are terrific, especially their "mediterraneo." Can't say enough about them. We had the "med" last night and the mix of ingredients taste phenomenal.
We have been very excited to try this place. Tonight we decided to order. We placed our order on their websites. Almost an hour later we called and they said it was delivered. After talking with the delivery place called "slice ". They returned our money. So we called bortolami's to reorder and they said to reorder on there app. So we tried and it wouldn't let us. So we called the store back and noone anwsered. If they were close to closing, why didn't they say something when we called and they told us to reorder on app. At this point I am not sure we will be ordering from here again, and differently not use the delivery placed called "slice".
The prices have increased! $72 for takeout 2 large pizzas and a salad??? One was a plain cheese pizza;; the cheese was really browned. The kids said it looked burned— I agree. This place has steadily gone downhill. Looking for a new place.
I wouldn’t order from them again. The salad was $8 and was very small…. Like $2.99 side salad size. It was trash lettuce too.The pizza was $30 and was roughly the size of a small or medium from any of the bigger chains. It was over cooked and burnt on the bottom. All in all, semi-decent food that is terrible overpriced. $55 after delivery fee and tip, and they forgot the Coke I paid for. Not sure why anyone would pay this much for such small portions with poor quality ingredients.Disappointed.
Doordashed the pepperoni and chicken ranch for dinner. Nothing special about the pizza but was overall pretty good. The ranch had enough dressing to offset the bread and chicken. Pepporini was greasy as expected and good. Pizza was delivered hot and on time.
I’m from the Northeast and I have a certain expectation for pizza. This place has the best I have had in town and I’ve just about tried them all! I’m not saying there aren’t other decent places to get pizza, but they are consistent in flavor and every aspect is perfected from the crust to the cheese blend. Consider that they don’t even have my favorite topping (jalapeños), but I still give them high praise.
Bikes AND amazing pizza!?! Yes, please! Happy to find this pizza place near our new house. Have now sat in and done take out, and the pizza was great both times!
