Kinda pricey for cheap food. One size $6 for the pancit which is just OK, so I wasted a whole lot. The pork belly $18 and chicken kabobs $3.50 are OK. Not somewhere I would come very often.
Able to eat some Filipino food that you don't cook at home.
My aunt ordered Palabok and Kare-Kare for her birthday here and we all shared the food. The next day, we all had explosive diarrhea. I have to say, the Kare-Kare was a little bit off, so it had to be that. I used to like Grill City even though sanitary measures were a little bit third-world (also, this place got shut down by DOH some time ago - so I'm not surprised). I don't think I will ever be coming back to this place again.
You don't even deserve a ONE STAR REVIEW! We ordered through Door Dash today at 10:38 in the morning and TWO DOOR DASH DRIVERS waited the 1st one left, because the food is taking too long!Then, after more than an hour and a half of waiting, GRILL CITY CANCELLED THE ORDER! YOU GUYS WASTED OUR TIME!!!WORSE SERVICE!!!
Worst service but ok food.Only 1 lady grabbing, cutting and boxing the food for people (+ 1 cashier, +2 skewer grilling guys) and tons of people in line. Super slow process made lines longer and longer. And it’s so hard to communicate with her. She was giving me the looks and yelling at me for asking questions.Food is not cheap either. This is “asian market theme” food, not authentic asian market where everything is delicious and fast.
Be careful anything food you buy or you will be sorry.Some food are old.
I like their food but if you ever order Uber they WILL forget something. I’ve ordered Uber from them at least 5 times and EVERY SINGLE TIME they forget half of my order no matter how big or how small.
I used to brag this to all of my foreign friends here...not now... placed an order foods wednesday to be picked up friday at 1020am.. all paid for and oh with confirmation too from them.. pick up the food at the said date and time 30 minutes after the food is not ready yet... excuses is not acceptable this time cause you have a good amount of hours to prepare it...
There is soo much good food here. I have never seen a grocery store deli this big. The grill is upfront and everything is very clean. I am coming here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner when in Southcenter.
