Since I discovered this Joint , I must say it's a win. It has this beautiful display of actual food in the menu on the side walls as you Go in. I tried their Firecracker sushi burrito and I loved it. Of you love Poke , then you will love their Poke bowls. The portions are quite generous and ingredients fresh. I personally enjoy the Spicy tuna Poke bowl. They also have a range of sakes if fancy that.
Great experience dining today at Zen Ramen & Sushi Burrito. We had the poke nachos, chicken bun, chicken ramen, shrimp poke, vegetable ramen and everything was delicious. The ramen broth was a tad salty and the poke nachos didn’t have as much tuna as I was expecting but all the food tasted amazing and I would definitely recommend it!!
I'm not from the Tacoma part of Washington but my daughter took me here for an early Father's Day dinner. I ordered the kiatsu chicken and she ordered some chicken pho that was awesome as well. Quaint little place with a decor that'll make you smile. We couldn't eat all of our food and took some home for later and it was just as good. We'll definitely be eating here again. No Wifi, good service. ?
this place was amazing. we ordered at counter and sat down to eat. my ramen was delicious and did have a spice to it. played kpop music, maybe a bit too loud but was great nonetheless. will definitely go back when I can.
Great service and delicious food. I had a Ramen bowl and my wife had a poke bowl and both were delicious. We will definitely go back again. Great service and cool dining area. The space is slightly small so tables may be hard to come buy during busy hours. The service is just as good as the food. Very friendly and attentive staff. Parking is street parking and limited due to the surrounding apartments but still available.
I’m sorry. I try to keep to myself if something is bad. This was just too disappointing. I’m not sure how they have a nearly 5 star rating?I started with a seaweed salad. It was overly sweet and mushy. Ok no big deal. Swing and a miss. On to the ramen. Ouch. The bland under seasoned anemic broth. Thickened with corn starch? And it had the odd flavor of a burnt kettle bottom. Like basically they burnt black whatever substance was being used to flavor the broth. Are you kidding me? And some sort of mushy red pepper paste that I think was supposed to be kimchee? Not good. The ultra thin sliced flavorless pork. (Chashu pork is usually a minimum a 1/4 inch think. Not a 1/16th) and grilled nicely with flavor. The pile of mushy noodles in the bottom of the bowl that basically turned to a clump of gooey starch. This bowl of food substance (not ramen) literally missed every mark.
This restaurant is cute, wait is long because it is a small place and they are short staffed. It is located in a sketchy area where I parked there was a lot of glass on the floor from car windows and a car on blocks with the windows smashed. While we were eating a homeless person locked themselves in the restroom to wash themselves & the cops had to come to get him out. The food was good but my friends and I all got diarrhea after eating there so go at your own risk :)
This was such a cute spot. I had no idea it was anime&Naruto themed inside, which I personally found as a pleasant surprise! We had one of their Sushi Burritos and it was so good. Definitely a place to show off to fans/friends in town.
Absolutely amazing ramen!! Very authentic and so delicious. Cute indoor dining, very clean and fast service. If you’re looking for ramen and poke in Downtown Tacoma, this is the spot!
