Holy yummy!!! The food here was so dang good!! We ordered a Kitchen sink pizza and a Zeek the Greek salad! These were both perfection! Tasty, quick, and hard to not devour every single bite!!
This is an amazing pizza joint! The crust is absolutely delicious. I had the Thai One In pizza and the Wild Greens salad. I couldn't get enough of both.
We came for some pizza, we’d say it’s not terrible but not great. Slices were a good size, though the pizzas itself are over priced for basic pizza similar to little Caesar’s. Gluten free pizza we got was 35 dollars, that’s way too much. Cola is jones which is neat but lacks. Service was slow for being the only few there.
So the thing about Zeke's is this. The food is good, and they only serve Jones cola fountain drinks, so at least when you're paying $2.75 for a fountain drink you're getting some quality soda. The reason Zeke's gets three stars though instead of 4 or 5 is it's high pie in the sky prices. It was $36 and tax for 17-in pizza. Sorry but that's just crazy, even with inflation! Our server was really great though and if I were rating just him individually I'd give him five stars in a blink. That aside, you're paying $10 more for a gourmet pizza than you should. I think if we're being truthful the main thing that Zeke's has going for it is that it's open on average 2 hours later than anything else on Pacific avenue with the exception of the sushi place. If someone were to open up a decent pizza by the slice place within walking distance from Zeke's that had the same hours or better it would absolutely decimate their revenue and business model. The atmosphere is also a plus at Zeke's. It has a very cool brick interior that actually used to be an Italian butcher shop in the early 1900s. Despite all its pros though; atmosphere, service, and quality of food... we ordered one pie two sodas and after tip it was $56 and change. So I rate it three stars with the conclusion that Zeke's will be around as long as it doesn't face competition with better hours, comparable food quality, and better prices.
I almost didn’t order it because I’m usually a red sauce only guy, but the Legion of Shroom might be the best pizza I’ve ever had. Highly recommended if you’re a fungus fan!
Fun pizza flavors to choose from and excellent salads (I was surprised because most pizza places I've been to do not care if their salads are good or not). I highly recommend Zeek's if you have a large group.
Customer service was 5 star the moment we walked in. We were greeted right away and our server was amazing and sweet. She gave our 2 kids some pizza dough to play with while we waited for our food to come. Definitely coming back here the next time we are in Tacoma.
Amazing pizza! Friendly & helpful staff. A little pricey just for pizza; but, the flavor & quality justify it. Love this place.
Amazing pizza. We ate dine-in and the waitress was great, the atmosphere was nice and the food was amazing. We ordered a large The Kitchen Sink. It was great for two good aged kids and one adult to have plenty and leftovers to share. The pizza was outstanding, but we ordered the garlic on the side, which I think was a good call with one of my kids not liking too much spice. I never knew I had a preference for a type of crust until I ate here. Perfectly baked dough, crispy without much fuss. Not like the giant 'burden' of a crust many pizza joints will serve you. Also the atmosphere was nice. Alternative rock was playing and I genuinely told my kiddos that what was playing was one of my favorite songs 3 or 4 times, Bjork, Smashing Pumpkins, Everclear and others. It became a little comical how often I was saying it.Met one of the workers there on the way out. He started last week bit enjoys the place, so that's good.Definitely will return.
It was good enough pizza, but not $30 good. I really got put off, when I walked in the door. The waitress / hostess demeanor and phrasing just made me feel unwelcome. Although I planned to dine in, I decided to get it to go after that first impression.
