Beautiful park. One city block! Great place for dogs to chase squirrels.
Now that they have clean the park up it’s a nice place for a walk
Magnificent trees, winding paths, fountains, delightful conservatory, and, near my apartment!
Enjoyed Shakespeare in the Park production of 12th Night on a pleasant Friday evening! This was really fun & enjoyable. Crowd was pleasant & engaged - a relaxing date night!
We spent about 45 minutes walking through the park from the North entrance at the intersection of Yakima and Division Avenues. We walked South along the East side of the park to the Conservatory (Greenhouse) , spent about 10 minutes inside viewing the plants there; and then continued to the South end of the park by the Lawn Bowling area. We returned to the North entrance by walking along the West side of the park passing through the playground, and then walking on the bridge over the lake and heading North toward the point where we originally entered. Along the way we looked at the plaques on each of the large trees, which showed their species, native area, and the date at which it was planted in the park.
Great park to jog around and your so close to everything! Not as scary as everyone says but I wouldn't walk there after dark
Love this park, just not in the summer as it's crawling with childern. Perfect place for a stroll, picnic or photoshoot.
Beautiful park with lawn bowling, horseshoes, and plenty of tables to enjoy meals in the sun!
A sunny early Spring day at this park is a great time to be here. It is quiet and there are very few people. In the Pacific Northwest there are many evergreen trees and this adds a buffer from I-5 which is close by. The loons on the lake were mysterious and a nice surprise.
Wright park is a special place for me because my dad used to bring me there as a child, he passed away when I was 11. I really enjoy the conservatory and walked there from Tacoma General Hospital when our relative was hospitalized.
