The jack Daniels burger can be amazing if they go easy on the jack Daniel's sauce. Same with the pub steak. Food in general is good. Pizza can be good but usually isn't that good, but it depends on who's cooking that night or if they're on major cooks have been there for years even after they got bought out a couple years ago. That does some leg work. Also, kids can be there until 9pm. This is great for a Friday night where it might be more packed at other places. Been a favorite place for years, but there are days when this place could have one of the best burgers in town, but there's not consistency. I will always come back though.
The food here was great and the portions were large. Social distancing wasn't a problem. 7 people at lunch time. Drink was solid.

If you like dive bars with good food, this is your place and these are your people. The bartenders are sassy, but take good care of their patrons. There's a separate area for sports fans with multiple TVs to watch multiple games or events. Food specials are posted, not sure how often they change but there was a big difference from one day to the next. The tater tots, fries and onion rings were surprisingly not greasy.
