This was a VERY tasty Thai place ( me and my husband eat a lot of Thai and are super picky about our Thai restaurants). He ordered a lemongrass chicken and he loved it ! I got Pad See Eew 4 star. It was so spicy I could barely finish it but it’s my bad - I usually go for a 3 .I loved my dish but it was very very oily …..Tom Yum was amazing. Best fried tofu I ever had in a soup. Overall the soup was good a little more on the sour side, but we really liked it.
You MUST get the fried Catfish Chef special fish. I haven't had a notably better fried fish. The breading is perfectly spiced. The curry sauce is so well balanced. A must. A top 5 favorite dish in my book.
Amazing food, and great service. Everything we ordered was very good. I got the Panang Curry with chicken, and it was delicious. Probably one of the best I've had. And my husband got the Garlic fried rice, and that too was so flavorful. Highly recommend this place.
This has been our go-to spot for Thai food since moving to Tacoma, we’ve always dined in since my husband is reluctant to do Thai take-out. He’s been very apprehensive since he’s the “foodie” and didn’t believe take out would be the best option. All 4 dishes we had were amazing ? featuring their papaya salad, pineapple fried rice, pad kee mao, and the chef’s special sweet chili chicken! Couldn’t even pick a favorite this time ?? take out was perfect! Thank you!
It’s a good thing the food is worth the wait here since I’m only taking off a star for slow service. I ordered takeout over the phone and had to wait an extra 20min over the time they said it would be ready. Kind of silly for a 2-item order where one item isn’t even cooked. Offering a drink for the wait would have earned back that last star.Otherwise, this is the only Thai in Tacoma we’ve found that comes close to what me and my family would eat while living in Thailand. Simply perfect unless you cross the bridge to Purdy (won’t mention the restaurant here though).
Was here over five years ago. It is better than I remember. Everything is fresh. Servers are punctual. Pictured is duck curry and tamarind prawns. Will be back!
Cozy spot in Tacoma.. made good memories and had fantastic food. Portion size is generous. I looked around at what everyone else was having and it all looked and smelled delicious. There are beautiful colorful murals on the walls. Tea light candles.. so nice.
the avacado curry is amazing!! love this place, one of two of my favorite Thai places to eat.
This is a great or of the way restaurant that I suggest you seek out. The food was amazing and you get a lot for the price. Most of us had doggy bags cause we had filled up on the appetizers. Most of our party will be back again. The waitress was very attentive and checked back with us often.
Everything was very good! The sweet chili chicken and the golden duck were my favorite but the pad thai was also very good. Do recommend the Thai coffee and the mango sticky rice as well
