Living in Washington state for the past 10 years I got homesick for traditional home style Mexican food like the kind that my mom and my aunt's made when we all got together. I ended up finding this place by Pure Luck but when I first took a bite out of their food made me feel like I was back at home and all my aunts and my mom were cooking talk about a delectable flashback everything was homemade.Definitely would recommend this place to absolutely everyone and I definitely will be back.

Not sure what the hype is. Tacos were very average and the asada fries had nacho cheese sauce on them, not real cheese, they just tasted weird. I prob won’t be back again, there are far better Mexican food places around here.

With all due respect, this is God's Kitchen.Go in, be nice, tip, and if you stay bus your tables. If you are not ready to order, step to the side like a good neighbor. These folks work hard and deliver excellence. The place is clean, the ETA pretty accurate, and the food tasty! It's a whole crave.

This was our first visit but not the last. We were pleasantly surprised. The place is small but clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is fabulous! We had the carne asada tacos, a sope, and a tamale. Wow! If you want a quick tasty bite I highly recommend this spot!

The queso birria tacos were the best I've had in town so far. Everything looks great though, so I'm definitely coming back (often!!).

First time there … it’s a hidden jewel in Tacoma’ Small but cozy restaurant . Order was taken right away , friendly staff. The food was served piping hot and absolutely delicious. We ordered the Huevos rancheros and they were cooked perfectly and the taste was out of this world… so delicious. We could tell by the amount of people coming in to order that we picked the right place . Can’t wait to go back!

We just moved here and this place is now our good to for Mexican comfort food. Quick, delicious and great portions. Their salsa are also pretty good!

Portions are a lil smaller than I'm used to but the flavor outweighs the need for more. They were kind enough to make my mom a non spicy Camaron dish, their tortillas are fresh, the birria tacos are solid, but the best part for me was the rice and beans. Delicious!!!! I haven't had rice and beans this good in so long!!! We will definitely be going back.

Not the Tex-Med I’m used to living in Texas. The tamales have way too much masa and not enough meat. The beans and rice were good. The max bows were average. I will say the tacos were okay except they the chorizo tacos were amazing!

This place is legit! Best Chiliquiles in Tacoma hands down!
