The fact that this lady always over prices MY order is CRAZY! I ordered the BURRITO ? Menu priced at $9.00 includes the drink right she charges me $10.00 + $1.00 for asada(steak) and a Sprite. My taco plate should be $7.24 but charges me .10c,+$2.50 &+ $6.00 so instead of it being 9.00+7.24=$16.24 plus tax = 2.00 equaling 18.25 SHE CHARGED ME $21.60. AYE FOR THE HIGH SCHOOL KIDS AND PEOPLE WHO HAVE ENOUGH FOR ONLY FOOD ASK FOR A RECEIPT SHE BE GETTING OVER AND EVERYTIME IT ADDS UP WHAT A GREEDY MENTHIDOSA
I love this place the food is amazing.... but the prices are super sketchy our usual order is a 2 quesadillas $8 each and a 6 taco plate $8.49 now we ask for flour tortillas instead and it raises the price to $18 because they are larger then the corn ones.... little pricey but ok I'll take it... now add that together plus the 10.3% sales tax in Tacoma should be about $37.50... so how is it almost $60 what's even more sketch is that sometimes the price varies depending on who is running the truck. Friday's is usually the higher price then sometimes a midweek day it's closer to the expected price of around $38... If they have raised their prices again I would totally get it but they need to keep their menu board up to date and just be honest and consistent with pricing. Also they advertise that some plates come with a drink then say no because you asked for extras... but charge for the extras so why remove the drink. This rule also varies depending on who is running the truck on a given day.
Don’t be fooled by prices on outside, prices are way more than advertised!!!! I thought mulitaz and the tacos where $7.50 each but turns out they prone to inflation without warning. Paid $9 for mulitas y $10 for tacos. Carne asada was kinda dry but mulitas were fire. Decent food just be careful on prices, they tryna rob somebody out here.
This is the best taco truck in Tacoma, the only reason I'm not giving 5 starts is because the prices have had quite a jump. It used to be one of the places I could stop and buy the whole family tacos, 5 of us could eat for $30-$35, now buying the same thing we always have time close to $60. Great food, the best, which is why I'll still go there over any other taco truck, but unfortunately not nearly as often.
I tried this because of the kids that go there. I was given a couple tacos.. But wanted to try them fresh!. The fried pork aka carnitas. Very tasty. I will say it is a whole in a wall type truck but they served its purpose. Food is fresh and they even have sitting area if you want to take a load off. Next I want to try the malitas next. A drink comes with.
FOOD POISONING!!On Wednesday I Bought a burrito & some tacos from here about 30 min after eating I started feeling sick. I still went to work but once I was at work I started feeling extremely nauseous & dizzy. I went home early & started throwing up all night long. Got a fever, sweaty & Next day same thing, I couldn’t eat anything & kept throwing up. It’s been about 2 days I still feel Ill & nauseous.My roommate who ate a burrito got a fever & diarrhea but the day after we ate. So im 100% sure it was the food.
The food was sooooooo very good. This was my first time eating here. I will be back again.
Good authentic Mexican food. I like it better than that Mexican restaurant next to burger broilers. Imo this taco truck is better than most restaurants.
Prior to my experience last night I would of given 5 stars. Dont get me wrong,The food is great. I'd never had a poor experience. However, last night i ordered my usual taco plate. And decided to eat in for a change. When asked where i wanted to sit, i asked for a seat at the bar. The bartender making eye contact never took my drink order though helped the other customers. When my food arrived it was prepared to go. Though I'm sure the woman in the kitchen heard my 'for there' order as they were not at all busy. They were not near closing time so i suspect as i was the only white person in the place that this was an act of discrimination. I'm deeply saddened by my experience. i now must find a new staple for my taco fix as i will not be dining here again.EDIT: I am just now noticing that this review was for the business FOOD TRUCK IN TACOMA! my review was meant foe the RESTAURANT AND NIGHTCLUB IN BURIEN on 1st Ave S. The service, and food at the taco truck was fantastic! Friendly and delicious I felt no rush to hurry my meal and leave though I know they were approaching closing time during my visit. Please disregard my earlier review. It was a technical error on my part. I'm sorry about that! Food truck, You guys are awesome.
If yall are looking for a food truck with authentic Mexican food this is your place, the food is responsibly priced and the food is immaculate, a solid 1p out of 10, I'd recommend the classic burrito or the burrito plate!
