I usually love and rave over the food but today it was the service and quality that I am annoyed at. I waited 40min…inside while people ordered after me and picked up their food. The thin lady was really mean to customers for no reason that I could justify. She didn’t even attempt to find my order. The other younger girl had to search for my order which was just weird. The eggs in the fried rice looked like they were grated and mixed in. I’m so sad cause I really like this place. But for me service trumps everything. Well kinda…I may just lay off for a while. And never order during dinner rush. What a waste of money. I hope that man that she was rude to forgives her. So uncalled for. Excuse the grammatical errors.
The food is really good, but good food doesn’t overcome inconsistency and poor service. We have probably ordered from here about 8 times and we’ve had more problematic experiences than good. Either the order has been forgotten, half the order was forgotten and the other half of the meal is cold (waited 30 minutes for the rest of the order to be made) or having my partner wait 20 extra minutes because the pick up name was not read correctly but the food was ready the whole time. They haven’t done anything to correct things as a business and show us as their customers that our time is valuable. This last time our order was forgotten, they offered free drinks…. Not good enough. To top off my review, our teriyaki combo meal #2 was missing the shrimp teriyaki.
I have to give it a 3 on the Fried rice because they use pre-cooked shrimp and it was kinda dry. Tried Sushi roll.. It was hardly any Seaweed wrapped in the roll. Dont they know the Seaweed is what makes the Rolls. 5 Star for their portions. I will go back. Very professional and fast. Great Egg Rolls. No sit down Service. No take out Menu. Menu available online. They do take phone orders. Cant wait to try my next order.
I ordered a large order for the company I work for. There were no complaints everyone loved the food. When I ordered they were patient with me. They didn’t forget anything I asked for. I definitely would recommend for small and catering orders.
I've only had a few things off the menu like their boba tea, king's fried rice, and monkey brain- and it's all delicious! It was a pleasant surprise to see how huge the portion servings are for the fried rice.
My new favorite teriyaki place in Tacoma! The place is quite clean and well set up unlike some other teriyaki places and the people there are so nice and friendly. They remembered me from the second time I went, made me feel very welcomed. The food is seriously one of the best I have ever tried. I’m pretty pucky with my food and they never dissapoint!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
These people have not only the name. But proved, no.1 fried rice and as I search for the BEST Chinese food. No.1 fried rice pops up. Im a picky person. I really enjoy their fried rice and they have a HUGE menu. They have bubble tea. Pretty good. Fair prices for what you get. They have small and large plates. Sushi, chinese food/wok, teriyaki, and even have a small variety of soup. They can get busy but I'd say they're pretty quick. Messed up my order 1 time since I started eating here in 2018. But thats my phones fault I think. Lol. I asked for Mongolian beef and got Mongolian chicken by mistake. It was kind of funny. I didnt know it existed! Anyways. If you ask. They'll customize your order. I always ask for bell peppers cause its a little more traditional. So its to taste. The owners are so sweet too. Amazing cooks?????
Wow! The food was outstanding! We ordered the chicken yakisoba and a deep fried spicy crab role. Yum yum!
I ordered orange chicken with teriyaki(combo), and fried chicken. Both are awesome and really tasty! I love this place! :)
I've been eating here for years. Still one of the best place in Tacoma to eat. They changed their space around to be more streamlined since there is no dine-in option. Very efficient. Menu is a little different, but still tasty as ever. Customer device is still top notch. Thank you for making it through the pandemic and still serving delicious food with those amazing smiles! I appreciate you!
