My fiancé and I each had an order of the Tacos de Queso y Barbacoa and shared a horchata and melon agua fresca We both agreed, it was the best we’ve had locally. I knew before biting into them, it was going to be delicious. The aroma of the dried peppers and other spices was intoxicating. The cheese was melted perfectly and the ratio to meat was excellent. The meat itself was tender and juicy and I didn’t bite into any large pieces of fat or connective tissue, which showed an obvious attention to the quality of their product. The tortillas were perfectly crisp and not soggy. It also came with a small side of consommé to dip them into and I recommend you don’t skip that part. The consommé was not watered down and coated the taco so well when you dip. I was so excited to dig in, I didn’t even snap a pic until I had eaten an entire taco but I did include it. Don’t forget the agua fresca and horchata! Those were both delicious as well. Neither were lacking in flavor and both were a great addition to our meal, incredibly refreshing . I’m excited to try other menu items in the future. Glad we found this place!
I came here pretty much just to try the agua fresca I'd been seeing on social media. I got the watermelon (sandia) agua fresca "locura" style. It was in a standard plastic cup rather than the barrel-looking type cup that I saw it advertised in. This thing is huge, messy, and fun to consume. It was $13 for this one super extra drink. I honestly wish I had tried the horchata one. Will probably try other drinks or the food here at some point.
It’s located inside a covered market. I tried a couple of tacos that were delicious. Loved the mango agua Fresca! I would absolutely return when I’m in the area again.
This place is awesome! Their prices are a little high in my opinion (I mean, it's Mexican food and the ingredients are low-cost) but I still stand by the 5 star review, because, people, their shrimp tacos are mouthwatering-ly perfect. Complete with mushrooms and onions and a very fair amount of shrimp. I crave them all the time! And, pro-tip: I highly recommend calling your order in for pick-up about 15min before you plan to actually arrive there since the place gets busy as heck and the wait time is excessive. Just keeping it real. Check out their Taco Tuesday specials - quite a bargain!
We were so pleased by how great the food was! We both said to each other how they were some of the best tacos we had had in a long time. I ordered the El Pastor Tacos and my Fiancé ordered the SoCal Tacos, the SoCal had such a generous serving of guacamole on them! We are already telling each other that we are going back for lunch tomorrow! Highly recommend!
The owner of this location is absolutely excellent, knowledgeable about the menu, even knew what items have soy in them and which ones don’t.The food is fresh and delicious. Unfortunately we got only 3 of 4 meals ordered due to a new employee error. I called, thinking I could just pick up the fourth meal on my way out. Instead the owner refunded my whole purchase, including the tip! I just wish she would’ve kept it because it was such great service and food. Thank you!
Best tacos and service in the area! Outstanding overall experience. Haven’t had this quality of Mexican food since I came from LA. Thank god for this place, I will return 100%!!
The amount of veggies on the “veggie burrito” was amazing. I’ve tried veggie burritos all around this country and I can say without a doubt this one had the highest percentage of vegetables. Loved the burrito and loved the salsas! Highly recommend for any vegans or vegetarians it there. This is real food, and it tastes good.
Unfortunately nothing right home about. I placed my order online and had to wait 30 minutes to pick it up, no issue there. When I arrived, they didn't have my order ready and in fact hadn't started making it yet. Luckily, I wasn't in too much of a hurry so I hung out. After 5 or so minutes they called my name and inform me that they were out of guacamole! That hurt... They tried to sell me on queso and although I wasn't feeling it I decided, "hey, it can't be that bad." I was wrong, very very wrong.I have never experienced queso with that flavor profile before and I've had it many times consistently throughout the years. From school "nacho" queso to all of delectable types in Austin, Texas and S. America. This was SO bad that I threw it away and I rarely ever throw away food, especially food I paid for. If it's edible, I'm eating it.Next was a jalapeno poppers. They were adequate, tasted like your typical frozen jalapeno poppers. And for the price, I'm not disappointed! It would have been nice to have something to dip it in but again it was a great deal.I ordered two tacos that were much better than the queso and jalapeno poppers. There was a lot more meat than typical which I appreciated. The flavors again didn't excite me but again it's Mexican food in Washington? The rice was bland but brightened up easily with the plethora of salsas.
I love this taco stand! After spending 5 years in Arizona I’ve come to love and appreciate authentic tacos and burritos.. this place delivers both. All of their salsas are on point as well- they always give me extra! You won’t find a better taco in the area.
