Great sushi, great service, well priced.Only gave 4/5 because they no longer carry Poke

My absolute favorite place to get sushi! I hate that they decreased their hours. I’ve been coming here for 10 years. I’ve tried to SO many local different sushi places and honestly nothing compares. Their prices are great, the rice is cooked and flavored to perfection, the size portion of the sushi pieces are not too big and not too small just right. Staff is always friendly. I hope they are not on the road to closing down due to their hours of operation.

Awesome little conveyer-belt-bar styled sushi spot. Always use good quality ingredients and all their fish is super fresh every tjme I've eaten here. Get your wasabi and soy ready and have some fun watching food go by your face as plates of yummies make their way around the bar. When you find something you wanna put in your mouth, just garb it and it enjoy!I really like the concept of not having to order or wait on a busy server for stuff on a menu. And since their chefs are always busy makin ki hi Kim or mi<{o I'm ok lg new rolls and serving up new dishes constantly so if there's something you missed or wanted to try but haven't, give it a min and it'll likely make it's way around to you and down your face hole in no time! They use different colored plates to indicate it's price corresponding to their menus price tier. (Something to keep in mind while workin on that sky high stack of purple sashimi plates!)

Sushi Revolution Conveyor Belt Sushi5225 Tacoma Mall Blvd Suite, Tacoma WAWell let's start by saying there has been a somewhat revolution at this place, and the definite winner was NOT the restaurant per se. Let me first clarify that it's not the quality of sushi that has lost the battle (in fact the sushi is excellent!), but it's the actual physical restaurant and atmosphere that seems to have been blown up along the way. First off, one of the main driving factors of visiting Sushi Revolution was the fact that it advertises itself as a ‘conveyor belt’ sushi restaurant, and yes, it does have a substantial conveyor belt mechanism, but that is where it ends. The only thing it conveys is a sense of disappointment as you realize it's not in operation and you are left being presented with a show and tell picture menu whereby you will order each dish from (a very attentive) server, albeit though without the opportunity to impulsively remove small plate after plate of enticing yumminess as it drifts by at eye level. To add insult to injury, the overall atmosphere of the place exudes an overall feeling of eating in a half empty warehouse, filled with white plastic folding cafeteria tables complete with equally tacky matching folding chairs! Even a Costco warehouse will provide you with ambient background music, this dimly lit cavern provides none. From driving up to this location bordered by I-5 on the one side and lesser Tacoma Mall Boulevard on the other, one is surrounded by sadness. But moving on from the revolution's physical remains, there is one thing that has triumphed, and it is the actual sushi that is prepared and served by the experienced sushi chefs and staff at this restaurant. By not having an operational conveyor belt (on our visit) ordering from the menu adds a little bit more complication as it's hard to judge how much of something you may wish to consume as ordering so many options all at once can present an issue. On the other hand, ordering one by one results in many trips and having to flag down wait staff, in addition to accumulating considerable wait times for each preparation. The upside is everything is made to order so freshness is at its best, and staff were more than willing to do the leg work in facilitating plate order after plate, but time drags on. We visited on a Thursday afternoon for lunch (which became a rather long lunch), where we ordered and enjoyed quite a variety of the many menu offerings. Items included Nigiri (a type of sushi where the rice is molded by hand and the fish or other topping pressed by hand atop the rice.) which included Tamago, Inari, Ebi, Seared Salmon andTunaTataki. Gunkan (a small ball of rice wrapped in a thin band of dry seaweed and topped with various ingredients) which included Creamy shrimp, Krab salad and Masago, along with the traditional Maki (sushi rolls) which we ordered Flower (imitation crab stick, cucumber, sesame seeds), California (krab salad, avocado, cucumber, sesame seeds), Sweetheart (shrimp tempura, cream cheese, asparagus, cucumber, avocado), Spicy Dragon roll (spicy tuna roll w/ unagi, avocado on top), and a couple more that were all exceptional. The end result here is (currently) I wouldn't recommend physically visiting Sushi Revolution on a weekday afternoon as we did, but possibly weekends or evenings may actually provide the sushi conveyor belt full experience, so call ahead to see. BUT…, I would definitely suggest the take-out option or delivery and enjoy it at home, as the quality of sushi is definitely up there with the best and peruse the online menu and take notes at one's leisure. As things are changing rapidly as we emerge from the restrictions of Covid, hopefully the dining experience at Sushi Revolution will improve so that it can soon match the quality of the product they produce.

One of our favorite sushi places. Can't wait for enough business to pick up so that they can get the conveyor belt back running!

Oh my, this place has gone downhill. No longer the conveyor belt, so lost that ambience. Top it off with rude waitresses and subpar sushi. Head elsewhere, for your own sanity.

I went there many times years ago with a dear friend. I have never been to a restaurant like this before. It is very unique! I’ll never forget how fresh & delicious the sushi always was. I live in Florida now & I wish we had a restaurant like this here.

0/10 will not be returning.I have been trying to go here for over a month. Their hours keep changing, and tonight was the last straw. I called ahead to verify they would be open and their closing time. I arrived early just to be sure, and when I walked in I was told they were closed because they “ran out of rice”. I told here I was the one that called earlier about their hours and had been trying to eat at their restaurant for weeks. She said she could go in the back and see if they actually did have any rice left after all. Either you have some or you don’t, and if you’re that low, I’ll not going to pay full price for scrap rice from the bottom of the bucket.I have finally given up on this place. Inconsistent hours, constant excuses, etc. I won’t be returning.

Would've loved to have been there at a time when the bar was revolving, but the service was still great and they were attentive with taking our order.

It's a great place just miss how it was . Nowits not the same picking out wht uwant..
