The cake was delicious as were the scones!
I ordered a cake and 2 dozen cupcakes for my husband‘s 50th Birthday. Brianne was so patient with my many emails as I tried to sort out what it was, exactly, that I wanted for him. She was also very helpful. In the end, we had a beautiful cake that everyone absolutely loved and delicious little cupcakes. I highly recommend this local little treasure.
We ordered 10 key lime pies (9 regular and 1 gluten free) from Spilled Butter Desserts, and they were delicious! We had recently spent a week in the Florida Keys finding the best key lime pie, and these would easily stack up to the best. Brianne, the owner, is also very pleasant and easy to work with. She was very responsive to my questions.
Brianne made a gluten and dairy free cake on short notice for my son and daughter in laws wedding. I cannot say enough how delicious this cake was and how much we enjoyed each and every bite. Because it was a bigger cake, we sliced and froze some of the leftover to enjoy a week later. It tasted just as yummy after defrosting. Thank you again Brianne!
What a wonderful hidden treasure in Tacoma. I first sampled their wares when they had a little storefront by Dave's Meat Shop. The Crack Pie had me hooked. I was wonderfully surprised when the new shop opened. Since then, I've had pop tarts, holiday surprise boxes, Key Lime pie and most recently a birthday cake for my wife. Hands down one of the best cakes ever. Brianne makes wonderful treats, just be aware you need to order on line, there is no walk in purchases.
Brianne made us a smash cake and cupcakes for my daughter's first birthday and it honestly was the best cake I have ever had. My daughter devoured it. Everyone at the party complimented the cupcakes and said the frosting of Swiss meringue was the perfect combination to vanilla cake. Honestly 10/10 will be back!

There is not enough I can say about Brianne and her Spilled Butter Desserts.I have ordered from her this past Thanksgiving, Christmas and have an order placed for a birthday in March.Brianne's communication is amazing. Not only is she prompt, and helps guide you through any questions and selection, but she is amazingly gracious about it.Picking up the desserts was very easy, with streetwise parking and easy access to the bakery. And..if you haven't been there, just go visit and enjoy the tantalizing aromas.I do need to say the cost is also very, very good. I was pleasantly surprised. Certainly a bakery for people of all income levels.I have ordered 2 cakes, and 2 pies (another cake and pie on order for March.) I also impulsively picked up a dozen scones. I don't think i can do justice to her desserts. They were all so fresh, so flavorful, so moist and a true hit with even the pickiest in my family.When I asked what the favorite dessert has been, the 14 family members I've hosted at both holidays could not narrow it down. Not only that, they have asked that I continue to work my way through menu (check out holiday selections, too.)Brianne, I hope you continue to bake for a very long time, as you are truly a part of our celebrations now. Thank you for sharing your talent and passion.
Absolutely delicious!!! We had a last minute change of plans for our reception, but Brianne was more than happy to accommodate. The cake was a huge hit! Unfortunately I didn't get the best picture, but we loved the beach theme she did for us!!
We got our wedding cake from Spilled Butter Desserts! Everything about the process of working with Spilled Butter Desserts was so easy (excellent and prompt communication) and the cake was truly perfection. The wedding cake was both beautiful and delicious; all of our guests and family absolutely raved about it. In the future, I will not hesitate in choosing Spilled Butter Desserts for any event.
