Never have I eaten at this restaurant, nor do I want too! I went there to pick up an order for Door Dash, and after the treatment I received, it's a wonder they are still open! I understand that the dine-in is still closed, but when I waited outside for 10 minutes n no one came out, I took a step inside the door to try to get help. Before I could finish my sentence of, "Hi. I have a door dash order." She was rudely telling me to get out, the dine-in restaurant is closed. And I quote, "if you see a sign that says wait outside, and there's people outside. Don't you think that's where you need to be?" As I was walking out the door, I was trying to explain that I am being timed and I had been waiting outside for awhile n I just needed to see if my order was ready. She was ushering me out the door, telling me how QUOTE "If i don't like the way they run the restaurant, then not to come back" then she proceeded to get the order and hand it to me, and stand there and belittle me IF FRONT OF ALL THE OTHER CUSTOMERS, telling me that I needed to have a better attitude and if didn't like it not to come back, but she wouldn't release the bag when handing it to me. As I'm trying to take the order THE SHE IS HANDING ME, she won't let go!!! She's still going on and on!!! I finally took the order so I could go deliver it (as I was already late) and as I'm walking away She's hollering across the street at me, telling me not to come back!!!Honestly, all I was trying to do was see if my order was ready for pickup!!!
Thus was a very nice surprise. We enjoy a good burger joint, and Spanky Burger and Brew delivered. We made the trip from the South End of Tacoma and it was well worth the effort. We will be coming back for more. Peanut Butter burger, and a Bacon Cheese Burger with Onion Rings for both orders. Chocolate Milkshakes were had by both of us, and we're excellent.
Great burgers and fries. The Spanky burger is the best! Updating my review because I ordered the potato chip chicken strips for the first time and they are AMAZING! Exactly what I wanted. I didn't know they came with fries too so that was an extra surprise.
The food is on point every time. I’ve been three times and each time order something different. They all have been amazing. If you order anything with jalapeño it’s spicy compared to other places that offer it. Next time I’ll have to try a shake as well. Will be here more often. Also, buying for a family of four you’re getting quality food and it’s still cheaper than Dairy Queen.

Got a salmon burger here and it was pretty smackin' good.There isn't any indoor seating (at time of writing) however so I would recommend calling in any order you want before going there for food.
The best gluten free experience we've had! I've read recommendations about Spanky Burger because of their careful gluten-free preparation. With a wheat allergy, we have very few options for fast food. The burgers were delicious, reminiscent of a hand pressed patty, the bun was tasty and I couldn't get enough fries in my mouth! The chicken strips were crunchy and tender, but my only suggestion would be a little more seasoning in the breading. Overall, we loved it!
One of the best burgers I've had in the tacoma area! Their seasoned fries was excellent with the chipotle mayo dipping sauce. Their service was great too despite having no dine in!
Cannot say enough good things about spankys !!! Everything is FRESH patties aren't pre formed. Just the right combo of meat toppings and condiments . Very affordable. Why go to fast food ? This is so reasonably prices staff is super accommodating and nice .we eat here several times a month !
The bacon cheeseburger was pretty good. Do not recommend the fries. They were the most blandest soggy fries ever. No seasoning and not crunchy.
