Expensive pizza? Right near this place is a Dominos, Papa Murphys, and a Papa John's (just a little down the road, less than a mile) and Slice of Life is still my go to when I'm wanting some pizza. You'll find the quality, care and taste is just so much better than the surrounding chains.
Great family owned pizza and sandwich shop. Always fresh and made to order. My goto place for subs and grilled sandwiches. Also, make custom whatever you want sandwiches. Just ask and they've always been happy to make me something not on the menu. By far the best subs in the Tacoma area. I recommend to all, stop by and meet these kind folks on order a sub or pizza. Great beverage selection too!
Great Family run spot. Feels so nice to have a place close by to run and grab a couple of large and delicious slices. Good variety of beer offered. Sandwiches and full pies are wonderful too!
Stumbled across this fantastic place. Affordable and quality! Hard to find these days. I will make the extra drive just to have the pizza and subs. Both were out if this world! This guy knows his stuff!

I took a chance on this spot purely because I kept driving past it on my way to school and was intrigued. I’m so glad that I did!! Pizza was so good. I ordered 6 for my son’s birthday party and everyone at the party was asking where I got it from because they loved it! Huge slices, the kind you have to fold to eat. Perfect thin crust. Just all around really great pizza. Also, price point was super reasonable and the owner (I believe it was the owner) was so incredibly kind! I will definitely be a repeat customer.
Not quite NY style pizza, however it's still tasty pizza. I think you'll get more bang for your buck by ordering a whole pie. That being said the cheese to sauce ratio is perfect. They use larger sliced pepperoni which still renders that greasy goodness that NY style is known for. The crust is a a bit thicker than I like but I'd still go back.
The owners let me wait for my Uber ride while I was there offered me a slice of cheese pizza I was in Pizza heaven!
This is now my go to sandwich shop. Subway who? Though the price is comparable and much like JJ's they only have one bread option they pack nearly double the amount of meat on as other places. The other toppings are acceptably fresh. The namesake pizza is decent as well. Not fancy, not spectacular just good. Reminds me a little of the affordable pizza I loved as a kid.
This little, humble spot is amazing. The price of slices is just right and the guy at the counter is just a kind, kind man. I took a risk on a new spot - and they have a new return customer. Plus, they have my favorite pints of ice cream!
