We always come here for the bento box’s, a lot of food so have a big appetite….but your eyes will probably be bigger than yo belly! lol
We ordered food to go since we were on the way to the airport. We tried the chicken teriyaki and chicken Katsu combo, egg rolls, and chicken ramen. Everything was good. The broth came separate from the chicken and veggies for the ramen. Was nice so things didn’t get soggy and you could put more noodles and less chicken or whatever amount of things you wanted. Staff was friendly and service was quick.
If I could do half stars, I would give 3.5. Generally the food is not bad, but I’m not impressed by how much corner cutting is involved. We went on a Sunday afternoon, it was quiet, and we ordered ramen with pork, egg flower wonton soup, sake sushi roll, Sidney roll, and the Tokyo roll. The ramen was basic. They make their own broth which was not bad, but the pork was teriyaki meat and tasted like teriyaki which really didn’t complement the ramen flavor. The egg flower soup was very good except for the “wontons.” They were gyoza pork dumplings instead of actual wontons. It’s a smart way to save money by stretching gyoza in more ways, but the taste of the filling did not go well with the soup in my opinion. So I ate around them. The sushi was all very good. The Sidney roll wasn’t rolled very tightly and it fell apart easily but all the sushi tasted great. The wasabi is colored horseradish and they give you a huge dollop of it. It probably wouldn’t cost too much more to give a small dollop of real wasabi. You don’t need to use much real wasabi to get the kick you need, and the horseradish had next to none.In conclusion, it was a fairly satisfying meal but we don’t plan on returning.
Lovely staff and great food! I love exploring the menu and finding new foods to enjoy!
My husband and I just moved to the area and this is close by and we took a chance one night and find ourselves going back and back for more all the time. We've tried a variety of things on the menu and always been pleased. I'm even ordering some tonight, haha. It's reasonably priced, exceptionally delicious, and a perfect little "hole in the wall" find. Jen at the front is so incredibly nice and kind and we're happy to support such an amazing family-owned small business.
Consistently delicious. Their shrimp fried rice is amazing. And they are super friendly.
The sushi was like eating a goo ball. Very low quality of rice. Pre-cooked and cold fried shrimp in my crunch roll. Everything was soggy. Nice presentation though. If you are a real Sushi enthusiast avoid this place.
Beef donburi is awesome. So is Mongolian chicken, they ask if you want it spicy or not, both ways it makes my mouth water thinking about it. Jennifer up front is always so nice and knows you by name.
Always great service and excellent food! One of our regular go-to’s for yummy sushi, teriyaki and Chinese food!
