Very good breakfast, great service, our server Jamie was always smiling, helpful and did not rush us. Wonderful to be able to sit on the dock and enjoy the fabulous views while enjoying good food and catch up with friends.

If you're craving a juicy burger and a cold beer, then head over to Rock the Dock Pub & Grill in Tacoma. Located on Dock Street along the Foss Waterway, the pub is a great place to meet up with friends. We had a party of six and we comfortably sat inside. If you'd like to sit outside, there is patio seating overlooking the water. For burgers, I'd recommend the Black & Bleu Burger with bleu cheese crumbles, bacon, and grilled onions over an angus beef patty on a brioche bun. One of the best burgers I've had in Tacoma!
Good food, and Kate provided over-the-top service. We are outside, and she even brought a bowl of water for our dog.
Walked in for lunch about 1:10pm. Asked a server if I needed to be seated by staff and she replied "no just sit wherever you like", I asked how I go about ordering, she replied "a server will be right by to take your order". Nearly 20 minutes later as I am in the middle of ordering food on uber eats a server pops up to help another 2 people that just sat down next to me, notices me, and asks if I've been helped yet. She apologizes and takes the food order. Food arrives at 1:44. Pretty good burger, fish and chips are decent. The server was friendly and saved an otherwise poor experience.
Service is meh. Beer selection is meh. Food is pretty good. It's a tavern/bar, not a pub. The service and scene reflect that.

Service was fast and friendly. Food was great,, reasonably priced. The restaurant was clean. Beautiful view ace great location. We will eat there again soon!
*Edit after 5 days the charge did drop off as they said it would,, I'm changing my rating to to 4 but I'm leaving the review for others so they can expect what's coming*Food was OK, view is great, unfortunately they had some trouble when I tried to split the bill with 2 others , 20$ in cash and then the check split in half for 2 cards, I could see one of the waitresses needed assistance when splitting the bill (maybe she was new) but someone needed to come over and help her (not a big deal) unfortunately when I reviewed my bill later there were 2 charges from the restaurant (one for 29.64) and one for 39.96 , I called the restaurant to let them know this and they said one of the charges was a "pending holding charge" which I find odd, this was 2 days ago and I'm still waiting for this "holding charge" to dissappear from my bill. I'm waiting a few more days in good faith to see if it will resolve if it does I will change the rating to a 4. If not I will be calling back to have the charge removed.Just seems like a huge hassle ?
