First time having dinner here. A little bit of a wait, but so worth it. They have a variety of delicious tacos! Our hostess was Eh, but our server Miranda was amazing! She gave great customer service by being so friendly, making small talk, checked on her tables & refilling our drinks.By the way, go on Taco Tuesdays because they have $2 tacos all night.Would definitely go here again!
I can't rave enough about how much I love Red Star! Everything we get here is fantastic! We brought our friend for his birthday last Wednesday and it was their first time there. It's now their favorite restaurant as well. We love coming back and the service is always fantastic!
Amazing tacos, beautiful decor, and a waitstaff with a heart of gold!My daughter is in the hospital and I've had the worst couple days of my life; the wonderful woman who took my order couldn't have helped me more. She made my night! She hugged me as I cried and gave me a Choco Taco for my little girl. Thank you so much Red Star Taco Bar. I will recommend this place to everyone I know!
We had a blast there was a lot of people for my friend to talk to he's a talker. An the staff are ALL very pleasant with a big side of patience. Great place to spend your time out even better place to eat dinner.
Ran across this place on St. Patty's evening. What a great little find! They have a variety of good tequilas and our server was super informative about the flavor of each. The food was DELICIOUS. The salsa, pico and guacamole all tasted super fresh! They have some interesting and fun taco choices that you don't see everywhere. Also very affordable. Can't wait to come back and try some more menu items.
This place is awesome! The service was great. The slushies are a must, the devil slushy shots are also a MUST, and the nachos are the best nachos I’ve ever had. Hands down my new favorite Mexican spot.
Went during happy hour. Dad's tacos are delicious and tasty margarita- only paid $13.00 for my food and drink. Great service too! Definitely want to go back.

Drinks are really good! We came one night and sat at the bar just for drinks and the service was great. Came tonight to sit down for dinner and were quite disappointed. The food is flavorless- and between the two of us we tried 4-5 different tacos. The queso and drinks were the redeeming part of the meal. We didn’t even get napkins until we were halfway through the chips and queso and never received cutlery. Our server was either overwhelmed or cared more about the large table behind us because he would obviously make more money.. either way, a bit of a miss. Might consider returning just for drinks.
Last week we went to Red Star Taco Bar for an early dinner. We arrived before 6 so HH was still happening. We ordered our drinks and an order of the chips with salsa and guacamole. We also ordered a few tacos. I got the chicken tandoori taco, Buffalo chicken and Baja fish taco all on flour tortilla. The food arrived quickly and service was great. I personally am not huge on salt but I felt like the chips and guacamole needed more salt but it was still delicious.The tacos, the tacos were the star of the night .... The red star of the night?! (Hmmm am I on to something here? ) I started with the tandoori chicken, the flavors were beyond and I was doing a happy little dance with every bite. The sauce (riata) was delicious and complemented the chicken very well. Next I tried the Buffalo chicken. The chicken was plenty and the Buffalo sauce was so delicious. Crumbles of blue cheese added an extra level of goodness to the taco. On to the Baja fish taco; the fish was crispy but juicy. The house Baja sauce was delicious too. I just wish I had the fish taco first then followed by the other 2 as the fish had gotten a little cold but that's my mistake for not having a proper plan of attack in place.All and all a great experience complemented with great service and great food.
