We met my daughter here for lunch since it's close to the mall and she had a hair appointment to follow. The food was delicious and the bottomless fries was a treat. The shakes were also delicious and there were multiple offerings of any kind of sandwiches. We didn't wait very long for our table and our server was very nice. My daughter did not finish your meal and she was able to take home her leftovers. We had tables for four to see or we could also sit in a booth but we chose the tables. I tried the impossible Burger option and it was delicious.
The food was great. Our waitress was amazing. That being said, when I entered I let one of their employees know that the sanitizer right inside the front door was empty he proceeded to tell me that he would get a manager to do it because he didn't get paid enough to change sanitizer. Also I'm not sure if I got there right after a rush or not but the establishment wasn't very clean food napkins silverware things like that all over the floor and a lot of dirty tables The food is good but I probably wouldn't return for these exact reasons.
We haven't been to this location in a few years because of how bad the service was the last few times we tried it, and nothing has changed. The kids got endless mac n cheese and oranges and never got the refills we asked for. The waitress kept ignoring us. We kept trying to get her attention; I even made eye contact with her a few times and she kept walking back to the kitchen to adjust this viking type hat that she was wearing. The adults got the wrong food, so when they finally brought us the food we ordered, the kids were already done and ready for more, which they never got. Then after asking for napkins a few times we finally got them as when were ready to leave. I saw other waiters being very attentive to their tables, we just happened to get the one who was in her own world.
First off we were not greeted at the door, it was a “I have to clean a table for you”. Okay great. The table was cleaned, we got our menus. Sat for 20 minutes while multiple waitresses walked by, no water, no we’ll be right with you, nothing. Mind you it’s my husband, my 9 year old, my 2 year old, and me. I went to the front where 3 waitresses were standing and asked if we were going to be helped that we had no water or anything and we were ready to order. One of the waitresses said, “okay we’ll be right with you.” Then found another waitress and talked about my family and I three feet away. We ended up at Chick-fil-A across the street. I’ve never been so such a terribly run Red Robin and have never been treated that way at any restaurant. The one star is because it’s required. Tacoma Red Robin is embarrassing, I highly suggest you avoid this place.
This place is terrible, with exception of a person named Harley. Not sure what her role was, but she was beyond 5 star and helped us more than anyone else. Our waiter was awful, dont know his name but he was clearly 'somewhere else' other than the restraunt. We came in with 7 people, 5 of our plates were cold. Very cold. I ate as much as I could of my burger(which came out wrong) and fries, didnt want the risk of sending it back. Two of our party ordered impossible burgers, so they sent them back and eventually recieved hot fries and burgers! It took close to 15 minutes to get them remade and they ended up trying to add those burgers on top of the bill(from 2 impossible burgers to 4).This is the worst place to eat in a 10 mile radius. Which is unfortunate because Harley was absolutely amazing. We were there for a birthday and she made it a lot of fun and did a great job.
Had a to go order which food wasn't ready upon arrival but that no biggie but they wasn't busy but the host and to go person sat there talking while I waited for my food it arrives and the to go person says here's your food and he is going to get your shake so I watched him head to bar and sat there and talked with the bar tender until he noticed me staring at him and he decided start my shake as this was for my child I just left and I will call and talk to manager tomorrow..... And food was horrible my bbq sauce container had some unidentified white stuff in it.... Attached pics of the pathetic burnt looking bacon cheeseburger
Good food. Good service. I would have given it 5 stars, but unfortunately, they didn't accommodate our seating for the number of people we had. So we couldn't sit together.
I like Red Robin as a chain burger restaurant. However, that being said, the Tacoma Mall location is one of my least favorite locations. Everytime we go the seating area is typically dirty, surrounding tables are left unbussed the entire time we're seated. Common spaces are not tidy and the restrooms leave much to be desired. This last time we went, we promised ourselves to make the drive down to Lakewood no matter how hungry we are after leaving Costco.
Ordered two reds tavern doubles with steak frys and two speckled lemonades. I feel like I got what I paid for. This was my first time at this location and Red Robin didn't disappoint.
I'm so done with this place. The waitress was amazing. Everything. I mean Everything was horrible. Had to send the meal back. Horrible. Wouldn't go there again. Until they announce new management.
