I can not say enough good things about the Olive Branch Cafe and Tea Room! I took my mom for her birthday and we had a wonderful time! The food was delicious, the service was great, the ambiance was magical, and the live piano music set the whole experience above and beyond! I will definitely be back!
I only stopped in for a couple of scones, apparently baked while we waited! This is a stunning place that makes you feel like you just walked into some Victorian mansion in the 19th century, just in time for high tea. There was a fellow named Brian playing piano. He seemed to have been born to play there. He let sing with him. The staff could not have been more gracious. The scones, and their clotted cream, lemon curd and some kind of jam that came with them, were warm and fabulous. I hope I will some day have a chance to have dinner here. Or maybe just high tea
A friend and I enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea at the Olive Branch. We stepped out of the ordinary and into a lovely and well appointed Victorian style home. The staff was engaging and friendly and our tea service was delicious. May I recommend the cinnamon spice tea! There was even live and lively piano music. We did not feel rushed and truly appreciated our time there. We're returning, without a doubt.
Very cute place. Food was ok. I ordered the chicken salad and the chicken was too hot, it wilted the lettuce and it was way too much chicken. Probably half the amount of chicken would have been better or served on a bigger plate with chicken on side. As far as the salad, it didn't taste farm garden fresh it was like same salad mix out of a bag. But oh well. It was a nice place. The overall service was great, live piano music.
Loving tea and vegetarian options on a menu, we found our way down to the Olive Branch. We had SUCH a great time. It's almost like being transported to a different Era! The tea was great, the food was yummy, and the service was outstanding. The live music by Brian at the piano was the perfect touch! If you haven't been here, go!
What a lovely little gem, hidden away in Tacoma near the train station:) The tomato bisque was FANTASTIC as was everything else we enjoyed. Our favorite tea of those we tried was the “Evening in Missoula.” The ambiance was rustic elegant, and the customer service was impeccable. Definitely recommend!
We made a Sunday midday reservation for Champagne Tea Party at this hidden gem! Oodles of house-made culinary delights - locally sourced and fresh. I will be dreaming about the curried chicken almond sandwich until we can return! Adorable, quaint atmosphere and proud owner-operator Christina was an attentive, charming server. The entire visit was an experience within itself. Can't wait to come back!! 10/10

Had tea here on 1/8/22. The experience was not a positive one. The food was not good, bread on sandwiches was stale, scones were not traditional type and were obviously from a roll, not handmade. They were undercooked. Restaurant serves cream cheese with the scones, mine was lumpy. The cucumber sandwiches were inedible. Service was very disorganized and slow. Positives: the piano player was delightful and we enjoyed the decor. But as a long standing patron of the Queen Mary tea room in Seattle as well as having done afternoon tea in many spots around the country, this was by far the most disappointing. It’s also ver pricey for the quantities and quality of what you receive.
