2022 06Sandwiches are the best around. Was a locals secret spot. So be prepared to wait bc they are worth it. Call ahead your order by phone is the best way to do this. Don't forget the beverage. Hope they open up the store inside soon.
As I sit here writing this, I have been waiting over 45 minutes for two simple subs. There wasn’t even a line when I ordered. I was told it would be a 15 minute wait. Even that was off putting but I accepted it. Just went to the window again and was told 10-12 more minutes. Obviously, they are catering to on line and call in orders. People that order the old fashioned way better be prepared to get older while they wait. I don’t care how good this may taste, it is not worth it. We are talking subs, not some complex gourmet cuisine. Absolute horrible experience. You couldn’t pay me to come back here. Avoid at all costs.
Still haven’t gotten my sandwich and it has been 45 minutes. At this point I am so tired of waiting I don’t care what it taste like I am never coming back.
Oh man, called in a club on a Saturday afternoon and was told it was going to be ready in 10 minutes! I was shocked! When I pulled up the parking lot was packed, but I got to slide to the call ahead side and I was outta there within a few minutes. The cashier was super nice too, and so was the person who took my order. 10 outta 10 would recommend!!! The sandwich was soooo delicious as always l!
Love MSM Deli! My only problem is, they are so popular that I have to call a good 15 times before I get through to pre-order. I made the mistake of showing up to order in-person, and was told it would be a 45-minute wait. So I left and went to Subway down the street. MSM makes the best sandwiches, but with a 6 year old in tow, I couldn't wait 45 minutes.
MSM deli has been our go to deli sandwich place for over 40 years. We moved out of the Tacoma area about a year ago but when we are in town this is where we go for a great sandwich. However today was very disappointing. I ordered a meatball sub and it has cheese whiz instead of motzarella. My husband got the turkey club but the turkey was paper thin and the cheese was cheddar. He said it always used to come with good deli turkey and provolone. Not sure why it was so different this time. Has it changed hands?
Friendly staff and they let you know you’ll age somewhere between 20-40 minutes while waiting for your sandwich. But they ask you to confirm before paying which is great.The sandwiches are tasty and the bread is softer than my fat belly. There’s also usually some interesting/cool cars when I make my way down.
Portion is HUGE, the 13' is definitely for two person. Taste is a little dull though.
Delicious. My favorite is the BLT. The perfect sandwich stop in Tacoma.
This year i have been on a quest to find the best sandwiches in Washington. MSM was merely the second stop on my journey, and the journey has ended. I’ve done it, I’ve found the best sandwiches in Washington. The only con to this sandwich place is I can no longer eat any other sandwiches without being sorely disappointed. These sandwiches are top tier, made for the gods themselves. The ingredients are always fresh, the bread is phenomenal, they truly are, simply put, the most magical sandwich makers.
