The staffs service really good. But the food was really bad. It was really salty and the spicy food wasn't tasty spicy.Really disappointed ?.I really don't recommend that sushi restaurant. ?

We had better service the last time we were here - I suppose it was just an off day. The food was absolutely fantastic as I'd remembered. Best tempura I've ever had, and the sushi rolls were delicious and beautifully presented, too.

Yummy little sushi place in the heart of Ruston, Tacoma, WA.

We’ve been here multiple times and the food never disappoint us! The service is great and we always leave satisfied.

I was a bit reluctant to eat here because of the negative comments, but I did not share their experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was guided to a table as soon as I entered by the chef since they didn’t have anyone up front. The server was very nice and my food arrived very shortly after my miso soup. It was well presented and tasted great! The service was perfect as well. The staff waved and said “thank you” on my way out the door.

It was perfect. They really went all in everything was so delicious.

Ate lunch here yesterday. We ignored the negative reviews and are glad we did. Staff was incredible and everything came out quickly. I love how they provide photos of the menu (I’m a visual guy). Roll selection is plentiful. We also ordered gyoza and miso soup. The freshness and quality of all the food was phenomenal. Fresh fish is very important to me. This might end up being a weekly lunch destination

I hate to post negative comments, but I hate posting inaccurate opinions more. The food was very greasy and oily. My wife and I were both feeling nauseous for the rest of the day and throughout the night afterwards. The staff was nice, though, but I can't recommend the food. The gyoza almost burst with oil when I bit into them, and the yakisoba noodles were oily, too.

I have been going to this place since they opened several years ago.The quality of the fish is good, the selection of rolls is good. The staff is AWFUL. All the years they’ve been open, the staff is AWFUL.The sushi chef is one of the rudest restaurant staff I have ever come across-EVER.This is based off of multiple interactions with them over the course of many years. The main chef is extremely unkind, incredibly argumentative, and has TERRIBLE customer service. The hostess staff (female or male) are very very low skill and incompetent. They stare at you blankly, and get confused very easily.I feel bad saying this, but it’s the honest truth. If you’re looking for a GOOD experience, half way decent customer service, this place is going to really disappoint you.We just drove 30 min to eat here, because I like the fish, not the staff. The primary chef wouldn’t look at us in our face, and rudely asked us to put on a mask.We forgot them, didn’t have any in our car, and asked this jerk very nicely “we cannot find our masks, so sorry, do you have one we could wear?”(Restaurant is not busy at all, typical, and we needed one to be from standing to sitting- maybe a 4 second walk to the table where we would be able to take off the mask). He very angrily and very rudely told us “I’m not going to argue with you, you leave if no mask!”All while not looking at our faces.Neither of us were arguing, we were simply asking if he could give us a mask so we could sit down.We left. This is one of a dozen AWFUL customer service experiences I’ve had with the staff.Again, if you only care about the quality of food, and you don’t mind zero customer service, and a mean angry chef…Then this could work for you!

The food was delicious and the servings were good.
