So delicious and awesome service! Really cool place to eat and stay.
What a neat jewel in the heart of Tacoma. McMenamins have done it again! Fun and kitchy. Awesome service and food to die for!
The food was pretty bad. We ordered a Rubin sandwich $21 and a burger $18 with a side and of chicken noodle soup. The soup was very thick and very salty. They forgot to bring a soup spoon. We didnât ask for one since the thickness of the soup made it ok to eat it with a fork. After a couple of bites my daughter didnât eat it. Very salty. My Rubin sandwich was soggy. The bread was very soggy. So it fell apart when I picked it up. I had to eat it with a fork and a knife. It lacked flavor and very salty. I only took a few bite. I understand eating out is expensive these days. But for the amount they are charging they should take care to make sure the food is tasty. The venue for is pretty nice. I would go back for drinks but not for their food. Not worth the money. The waiter did not take our order for 30 min after we were seated. It was Sunday early evening. They werenât very busy. I think he forgot we were seated. I had to ask someone to grab our waiter. He eventually came. He said a bartender cut his finger. Thatâs why he didnât take our order. But we saw him slowly go from table to table. But didnât come to our table. I honestly think he forgot us. I was really looking forward to restaurant. But we left disappointed.
Always on point/ beautiful views/
5 stars âï¸ Always fantastic service. Much appreciated- Thank you!
My date liked it
Everyone was so nice and gave us plenty of space and time while we were there. We were a large group with a few babies, the whole staff was accommodating and welcoming where they didnât rush us or push us out. Thank you for having us and we will return.
Amazing food and great place for anniversary dinner.
Spanish bar our server was fantastic. Went upstairs for dinner. Server was great. Good and drinks were yummy.
Don't forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any hotel. This web site will compare hundreds of booking web sites and typically will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of the most well known in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you definitely won't be let down.McMenamins nailed it again with the Elks Temple property; a beautiful renovation of an historic building, well-executed and full of fun bits of history to learn about the building and the area. Fun to stroll the entire building (the diverse collection of chandeliers is amazing -- don't miss the atrium!). We had dinner in the pub; the service was solid, and everything was tasty and a decent value. Even had a couple of cocktails which were pleasingly well-made.The bed was great, the room was clean and everything worked. Only downside was a bit of all-night industrial noise and light from across the water; it was great to sit and look out at it all with a drink, but a touch noisy for good sleep. Pulling closed the heavy drapes in the room took care of all of the light and most of the noise though, so it should really only be an issue for light sleepers.
