Fun place to eat. Food is pretty good, but a bit on the pricey side for burgers/etc. Make sure and visit the secret/hidden bar and the 5th floor.
Have always enjoyed McMenamins but today our food took 40 minutes to come to our table and one of the dishes was was so overly salted that we almost sent it back. We didnât however because we didnât want to have to wait another 40 minutes. Really disappointed. I would still recommend McMenamins based on our past experiences. Hoping this was just a fluke.
We were hoping a quiet romantic spot with view of the water - we got it - at first. Then they seated a large group of 15 or so next to us... and that was the end of the quiet and service. Our server didn't come back to check on us. One other person did - at that time - we had what we needed. Soon after, we were done, our drinks were empty... so were our plates... and we sat, and sat... and waited. We tried to make eye contact but it took forever for them to notice. We were so annoyed at the noise and the non-attentive service - that we didn't order more drinks OR dessert... which is why we went there for dinner. Prior to this experience, we have enjoyed dining here. Hope this encourages improvement. Don't forget about small tables just because you get set with a group.
The atmosphere was great, staff was excellent. Definitely a great place to have nice meal and be around good people.

Itâs got tons of character! Food is basically bar food and drinks are overpriced a bit. Fun if you go exploring!

We arrived early for our reservation and they were able to seat us, with approval from the server. The pretzels with cheese were amazing and the crab Mac and cheese was really good too. Cocktail was a bit small and the servings arenât huge. The waiter was good but he seemed stretched thin and a bit distracted. Overall we will go back for special occasions.
