Great meal. We had a group & made reservations. The food was superb. The pic is of a sushi platter that we all shared in addition to our meals. A lot of food. We were celebrating 4 birthdays. Great place to go for a birthday ??

My first visit to Mandolin Sushi was a great one! The selection of rolls is very extensive, and everything we had was delicious. My favorite was The Tuna Special and these pictures do not do justice. The service was prompt and the atmosphere was great. Already can’t wait to go back!
Excellent food and great service!Fish was very fresh and nice thick pieces, the yakisoba was incredible, the tempura light and tasty batter, all around excellent!Warning: not the cheapest, but then you get what you pay for, and this is among the best sushi in Tacoma

I tried the Toro and now I am a regular here. Never tasted fresher blue fin tuna. They offer different parts of blue fin; lean part, chu Toro and o Toro. I strongly recommend you check with the restaurant for availability. My go to place for super fresh blue fin tuna!
Our dinner was absolutely delicious. I have nothing to complain about. It was Valentine's Day weekend, and I had called in a reservation at the last minute. They were able to accommodate our party of four and a half (my one-year-old daughter) within 80 minutes. The restaurant was very busy when we arrived, but they had us seated within less than 5 minutes of us checking in. To our surprise (this was the first time for all of us visiting Mandolin), the restaurant was packed. We all still received prompt and friendly service. The cook was entertaining... he even tossed scrambled eggs into everyone's mouth! We had a wonderful time, amazing food, and great service. I know we will all be back again sometime in the near future.
This place has amazing customer service! My husband and I came here on a whim and they were super packed. While waiting for our table to be cleaned, we had 4 different servers ask if we had been helped yet. It’s nice to go somewhere like this and have that kind of service. The food came super speedy, serving was HUGE, price was great, and the food was delicious! This place is def our new favorite when we’re out of town!
