So delicious! The broth was perfect! Great portions, too. There’s only one size pho; my steak and brisket pho was $10.95 and quite filling. I added tendon - not all of the pieces were soft enough to enjoy. The Thai iced tea was very good too! My partner and I visited on a Sunday late morning, and it was pretty full with a couple large groups. Our server (the only server) was running around and taking care of business and he was very friendly! I’ll be recommending Lunar’s Pho to all my Tacoma friends and hope to come back again next time I’m in town!
One of my favorite spots to order from. Consistently delicious and great assortment to choose from whether you want a veggie or meat dish. My favorite: tofu lemongrass with mushroom bun (noodle bowl)
Nothing short of the best. I only have the one picture of their banana cake because we housed the rest before I realized I should’ve taken some for a review. Their Bahn mi and soups are amazing, the vermicelli bowl is my absolute favorite main dish. Tried their walnut shrimp and no lie, best walnut shrimp I ever had. Inspired me to write this review. Lastly is the banana cake. Better than any banana cake you’ve ever had and the coconut cream on the bottom is so good I wanted a side of it. If you’re thinking of eating here; absolutely do it!
I am eating their Banh Mi (Vietnamese sandwich) in my car and writing a review because it is soo good!First off, I accidentally read a local article reviewing how good their Pho and the story about the people there. So, drop by after work on Friday, I was served a great Pho and so excited to try both yummy corn milk and Thai tea by a young happy lady who cares a lot about her customers. Then, I decided that I have to come back right Saturday morning to grab the Banh mi, and don’t forget the signature Vietnamese coffee as well. This combination really brings me back the memory of Vietnam though I eat out a lot of Vietnamese restaurants before.Definitely authentic Vietnamese cuisine made by passion and proud. Next dish for me will be Bun Bo Hue (they usually have it only on weekends).Cozy spot to visit frequently and enjoy their hot cup of jasmine tea.
Yes! Terrific pho! Richer broth than other places, very tender perfectly cooked noodles and house made meatballs. We also had the shrimp spring rolls — tail on and with delicate savory vegetables inside. Nice hot jasmine tea served up right away if you want. I always try to talk to the staff and the server turned out to be the owner … and she’s super friendly accommodating and professional <3 not just with us but with the newcomers to Vietnamese food who were sitting opposite us. I’ll be back to try more from the menu!!
Wow!So this is me and my boyfriends first time eating here under its new name and ownership. We loved the food here when it was called Dragon Pho so we were hesitant on trying technically a “new” spot but decided, hey why not?Our waiter greeted us quickly and he was super nice. He recommend a few dishes on the menu + their daily specials. We ordered a rice plate (pork spare ribs) w/ a side of beef soup, fried egg rolls & their special for the day oxtail pho.Food presentation was great and everything looked fresh. Spare ribs was flavorful and their pickled radish + shallots. I’m a huge soup fanatic especially when it comes to pho or kuy thiev since I’ve had it all my life. But wow! Their oxtail soup was really good. My boyfriend ate the whole bowl and drank the soup. Fried egg rolls was also good, really love that they serve tasty nuóc cham.Overall we really liked the food and that’s why I’m giving it a 5 star. So if you’re wondering if you should try it, well PLEASE DO!!
Absolutely delicious food! Excellent Customer service. She was amazing. The food was fresh and yummy. She gave us complimentary dessert. New favorite pho spot. We had the steak and brisket pho and the spicy noodle soup (without the pigs feet and blood). Amazing.
I never leave Google reviews but we had a great experience here last night. The food was delicious, best ribs we had in a long time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I also liked that the menu was concise, which is always a sign that food is prepared from scratch. They gave us a complimentary banana cake that was divine! We came back today to grab a Thai iced tea and homemade sweet bean milk, so good! They opened 2 months ago so I’ll be spreading the word!
Delicious pho, amazing Thai iced tea. Extremely kind staff, can't wait to return.
SO GOOD oh my gosh, i came in for a Muay Thai fight in Tacoma & we traditionally stop at Pho after weigh ins, it's my first fight & i was allotted a certain amount of of honey walnut shrimp but it was FANTASTIC. they opened maybe a month ago, & they are a small buisiness, AWESOME service, our waitress was so kind & very flexible with our order being both dine in & to go.THANK YOU ? -Hominidae Muay Thai
